I have some of PopToys Last Samurai figures but don’t have much familiarity with them outside of that.

PopToys tends to have pretty good production tailoring. But the boots are already wrong for both. Also have to wonder if the jacket will be real leather on this.

Interested to see the headsculpt(s) for this but if their recent John Wick is anything to go by, it’s going to fall off quite a bit in production.

All that said, very interested to see the the full reveal

I wonder why there's so much interest all of a sudden?

The film and figures aren't for me except for the Darkstar pressure suit, but I keep adding the threads nevertheless.

Nine of them since 2021.

This new pair look like a re-run of EX052 and EX053 from 2022 and 2023, unless those never actually released.

I couldn't find any in hand photos of EX052 and EX053 from a quick search, so I think Pop put them on the back burner for some reason. Therefore the current tease is them actually getting round to making them.

I purchased the Ace-Toy tom cruise and to me, the final sculpt looked closer to Tom Cruise than the promos. I also think the smiling version, while absolutely ghastly looksing is acceptable with sunglasses on or his helmet.

I wish a company will nail/do a smiling Tom Cruise head and an Arnold Schwarzenegger smiling head. Both have iconic expressions.

All the sculpts past the Redman toys, see to all look like Tom Cruise, but not quite 100%. Redman also looks like Cruise bbut is a dated sculpt from 10 yrs ago.

I just love Top Gun and all it's h0m0er0tic over the top masculine overtones. Just a blast filled with high testosterone. I got so many Top Gun figures at this point simply due to my love of the 80's movies.

I trying to talk myself out of ordering this, but....I may have to. The leather jacket tom cruise is so iconic.
