Don't have any Robocop figures but I like this look as a generic cop. I almost bought the HT at the time.

I don't remember him using two pistols in the film though. Present Toys' look more like Glocks rather than his SIG P226:

Looking at the old HT promo photos they gave him two pistols as well:

This was the scene:

Murphy fires his SIG-Sauer P226 and Lewis' Heckler & Koch P9S at Boddicker's gang.

The Heckler & Koch P9S is the standard sidearm of the Detroit Police Department in the movie. Lewis is seen giving a P9S to Murphy during the van chase and Murphy uses it during the shootout with Clarence Boddicker's men (although it appears that she carries a SIG-Sauer P226 later). Later on the station range, we see many police officers firing their P9s, indicating clearly that this weapon is their standard-issue. Several SWAT officers who open fire on RoboCop use the P9S as well.

Neither are what Present Toys have given him, which is likely a pre-existing mould they already had.

Kudos to Present Toys for not just recasting the Hot Toys sculpt and theirs is very good, but even with the addition of rolling eyes I still I prefer the Hot Toys one by a hair or two. Those Weller sculpts were really top notch.

Nice to see a 'coming soon' silhouette for Lewis. I wonder if they'd do Boddicker?

I know I don't, but looking out for Lewis and others!
I own the Hot Toys Murphy but may double dip.

More excited for Lewis but doubt PT will go any further than that.

Luckily another company is producing all the villains in the gang to compliment the NECA figures so we’ll get representation in one form or another.

Yup, I know. Fellow europeans JVS Toys. I'm in contact with them regarding review samples.
