If they can match the proto, we’ll be winning. Last experience tells me that’s unlikely but it’ll still be passable.
PT attempted rooting hair with their Rick Grimes to… mixed results so let’s see how they manage with SERS.

And is it so much to ask for this in 1/6?

Damn, Neca. You crazy.

This looks pretty good, but I need that Lewis to go with the HT Murphy! I was so close to making my own custom/kit-bash Lewis less than a year ago. That would have cost me about $800 and may have only been as good as what PT will crank for 1/4th the price.

Really?? I thought it was the same with different paint job, to be honest I can't believe present toys did this by their own

Either way I think it's a great option , the original hot toys pack is still a little bit expensive
Looking at my Hot Toys Murphy right now and the Present Toys figures looks good but also looks NOTHING like the Hot Toys version. Not a recast.

I watched the first two films again yesterday.

In the second film the helmets had badges on them. At first I thought that was the only difference, then realised they were also a much simpler shape:

The originals had a more futuristic design:

It'd been a while since I watched RoboCop. I'd forgotten just how good the dialogue was. It released the same year as Predator, but whereas Predator was full of typical cheesy '80s quips, the lines in RoboCop were measured and on point.

It was also quite sentimental, not to mention bleak in the dystopian manner of '79 Mad Max.

My first recollection of anything to do with the movie was hearing a kid in school say, "He punches right through a wall!" :lol

Watching it again made me regret not having picked up a RoboCop, though I remember something about the clear plastic joints cracking.

Still tempted to get Murphy, and more importantly Lewis, even though they are from Present Toys. I mean, how bad could they mess them up. Not too bothered about Murphy's sculpt as Peter Weller always looked weird to me anyway, but Lewis needs to be on point.

This is figure PT-94.

What was the last one Present Toys released?

Rick Grimes is the only one that comes to mind: PT-53 which released last November. His original eta was Q3 - Q4 2023.

So another 40 releases until they get to Murphy. Q4 2025 was already looking optimistic, so it'll more likely be Q4 2026.

Hot Toys won't like another company doing these. Hopefully they announce new figures.

I'm hoping they have this attitude with PT's Tech Noir and Police Shootout Terminators. They did it with T2, so hopefully this becomes a trend.

While they're at it, they can re-release ED-209 with a plastic dome and more durable rubber joints.
