Hi.....

I dabble in the 1/6 figure collectables, but I'm a little confused as I've been out of it for a while.

Hot Toys is making Stars Wars figs now...so that's good. Example: Han & Chewie, Stormtroopers set....

But I'm confused by Sideshow. Is Hot Toys making Sideshow figures, and then Sideshow slaps their logo on them?

For example...Boba Fett, C3P0 & R2D2, and the new Luke/ X-wing pilot

I can't seem to find a definitive answer around the net.

I figured I'd get one here on the forum....

Nothing against Sideshow, but I prefer to stay with Hot Toys product....

Thank you in advance for any replies....

Tony

Hot toys and sideshow is different company

They are making their own stuff but sideshow is official distributor of Hot Toys on west.

Okay...

So far so good

The last time I bought a Sideshow, it was an Indiana Jones...and the quality was just above a Barbie doll.

Have they gotten better? On par with Hot Toys?

You've been a member since 2010 and this is your second post? Hmmm.

There are 30,000 registered members on the forum, but usually less than 2,000 online at any given time. Just looking at the numbers, there are a TON of people who have registered but rarely if ever post.

Question has been answered and there's no point in getting into a Sideshow vs. Hot Toys debate in yet another thread.
