Fritz, I gotta commend you on your cost saving techniques!
I myself will certainly buy two "generic ringwraiths" if they are released as non-descript ringwraiths, and a witchking for sure. I think any twilight wraith would be a different figure entirely. I hope that the WK comes with his helm and mace, and the exclusive could be the flaming sword!

I was also thinking about making a custom weathertop dislplay for these guys! For as much as I like the SS Star Wars line, I am twice as excited for the LOTR figures!

I agree. It'd be cool to see 9 ringwraiths so I'm just going to buy one and down a bottle of scotch to achieve the same effect.

There you go...I may have to try to the same thing when Arwen and Eowyn come out...:naughty :banana

There is no way that you could have nine Ringwraiths. They would simply be identical. I couldn't see anybody forking out for figures that were basically the same as each other.
It could be a possibility if Sideshow made the nine Ringwraiths as Frodo sees them whilst wearing the ring. Their faces would all have to be different as you see in the films so you would want to buy them all and have to buy them all.
You wouldn't want to have..say six or seven of them. You would want to get them all if they were different. I know that i would as i know that once i start collecting something that i know is part of a set i would hate to not have them all.

You'd be surprised. There's a lot of army builders who would buy multiple figures. Now I don't know how or if that translates to the Nazgul but generic characters such as Gondorian Soldiers or Elven Warriors etc if made will have people buying multiples. Customizers and diorama makers would also probably buy multiple Ringwraiths.

Yea for sure. I've seen some serious set-ups where people have used like 20 - 75 of the same (Toybiz) figure for Army builders to make a serious diorama....

Crossbow Uruk-Hai, Prologue Elven Warriors to name a couple off the top of my head.

I agree with Fritz.

The Gondorian, Haradrim, Easterling, Galadhrim, Rohirrim soldiers and even the Orcs and Uruks are going to be hot comodities.

I myself am already preparing my White Tree Fountain Diorama and will be needing "4" of the Fountain Guards, once they are released. I'm already pruning and shaping my bonsai tree in preparation for it's bleaching... ;)

I'd love to see WiKi with removable Angmar armor, his sword and mace, Morgul blade, a standard wraith sword (different from the Wiki sword), and the WiKi sword aflame as the exclusive.

I like that.
