Hey peeps, I have been itching to start collecting the Star Wars 12" line especially after seeing Malgus is coming out, but I have a question for anyone that can really be helpful in recommending a FIRST 12" to get. I like all the characters so that is not an issue.

So in some of your opinions, what should I get first?

The clones?
Bossk?
Boba Fett?
IG-88?
Tusken Raider?
Gamorrean Guard?

Please help a fellow SW fan out. Also, in terms of the older 12" figures, would you all recommend I get a Mace, Plo Koon, or Kit Fisto? Thanks.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of those choices... Add in Hammerhead, Greedo and the Emperor.

All good choices but I must say if your like me clones get addicting so either get the few you want, all of them, or wait. HT bespin Luke is a must for me to. And the older jedi I have to say plo koon is my favorite and looks great with clones SSC does great with the aliens.

But it all comes down to buying what you really love first. If you feel iffy about a figure just wait and get the one you love first and be patient on some of the figures if the price is to high for the older ones.

Damn this guy is pricey, I forgot. Even with the $15 off (which basically eats the CA tax for me). But for some reason this is a must-have for me because of that EX sculpt.

You know, I'm sure people will be able to get the EX off ebay for a lot less than I'm paying... but I'm so looking forward to this guy. I think its because there's so little expectation on these well-done side-character aliens and they always come out so well that I know I'll fully enjoy it.

I disagree. Although Bossk isn't exactly screen-accurate, he looks AWESOME, and if I had him on order, my expectation right now would be through the roof!

I don't care what anyone says, the Sideshow Aliens are top quality. I'm still wowed by the Hammerhead figure every time I look at it.

How long did it take the Boba Fett exclusive to sell out? He wasn't exactly screen accurate, he looks awesome, expectations prior to his arrival were through the roof, and although the race is close, he's more popular than Bossk.

Used $60.00 in points on mine so its not that bad for me. Ready to be charged on Monday and hopefully it ships Monday so I can have it Friday.

I was unclear -- I meant that the expectation on characters like Luke or Han can be high and highly scrutinized, where I think most are willing to let things slide a bit more on lesser characters, thus less expectation, less disappointment and more enthusiasm. I find myself often more excited with releases like Tusken Raider and Bossk than I am with, say, the upcoming Anakin DX or even Han DX. Less pressure to be perfect maybe is the best way to say it.
