Looks fantastic, so glad I didn't cancel, almost did, had too much stuff on. This is going to look so sweet next to Fett and 88.

The closed mouth one by far. I really like the open mouth one as well. I mostly post at RS. I get into too much trouble here. Seems that most people dont like my opinions here.

It is interesting to see this come around. From the angst at SSG that spawned BHC that spawned RS, to the angst that RS used to be known for, and now to SSF. There is angst all over the place. But for the most part (with an admitted few exceptions), it is like family bickering moreso than like mortal enemies bickering.


And that reminds me...I need to visit SSG. I think the last time I was there was around the time of the kidney donation.

He really looks like one of SS's best, if not their best overall. The fit on the costume is excellent.

Damn, this looks outstanding. I might be the only one that went non-EX so I have a few weeks till I get mine, still, very excited... I just couldn't see using that snarling head all the time. It reminds me more of Clone Wars than ESB.

I moved mine to FlexPay for a minute, so I might be waiting with you. Depends on how long I can maintain the sense of responsibility I'm currently yoked with. Could be a month. Could be tomorrow.

How can Sideshow get something like Bossk so right and screw up Boba Fett so badly? I swear they are like 2 different companies.

I know, right?

I think people scrutinize details of Bossk or Greedo much less than a character like Boba Fett or Vader... I don't think any company could release one of those two without complaints.

While this is true to some extent, for me personally, I'm rarely OCD about my figures... I love HT Indiana Jones, for example... but the Dome on Vader really bugs me, and the color on Fett, as well as the vest/chest plate do too...
I think Medicom did a better job overall on Fett, but that's just me!

Yep, Sideshow came through. I guess the orange is covered up on the snarling sculpt by the semi-closed lids.

I think that might be part of not liking the 2nd head as much; adding lids to the eyes does change the look of Bossk quite a bit. I'd have preferred if the 2nd sculpt was lidless with the orange rim; I think that might have looked better than the semi-squint.

I like the bent feet too for added posability. Kneeling option is cool but doubt I will use it other than for few photo ops. but still nice to have.

Agreed, I don't often use bent toe feet... but cool to have as an option especially on a figure with animal/alien feet.

That Hot Chix Cool Toy review is excellent this time around. I love that they break down the outfit into layers. Hope they continue that type of detailed report.

Bossk really does look great. I agree that the reg head seems more Bossk-like, only becuase that was the limitation of the costume head on set. And I like the orange on the eyes. However -- that 'snarling' head is just too awesome and badass -- gives Bossk the character that the original suit never could.

Does anyone know what that maroon tubing is around Bossk's head that doesn't really connect to anything?


BTW for anyone keeping track, I'm told I have a tracking # issued and will get my shipping notice tonight.
