Got a little more paint on the Orc . Now I'm looking at his outfit and armour , I've a few ideas but I'll need to pick up materials this week . In the mean time , I think I'll be having a crack at a few weapons . That should be fun , as the bigger ( and dafter ) the better !
My Ultramarine is coming together as well . My intent is to factor in the "evolving" nature of his build . I'm starting him off as a "grunt" or rookie , with ( relatively) clean armour and no battle damage as such . Then I'll be able to add decorations such as honour seals , studs etc , as well as weathering and damage , when the feeling takes me , or as his battle experience grows ! He doesn't have a headsculpt under the helm , so he'll also be "faceless" until the point that he removes the helm , much later down the line ( and therefore later in his story ). That's the idea , the custom action figure as "conceptual art "!
