Use milliputt or whatever, flatten it out plop it on and cut shapes. smooth it with water so its sexy smooth. Build up several layers after each 1 has dried. Its pretty easy to do just have a play.
hahahah I knew you would get it eventually ... yeah I am gonna have a go and see what happens... The only way I am gonna get better is by pushing my self....
I am not planning the full servo harness with the servo arms but I want to get the base figure and a backpack......
Hit about half way mark with the Grey Knight . I added some "script " detail ( ended up simply sculpting it on with terracotta Milliput ) and started on the paintwork . Still quite a bit of detail to add , but as the Milliput worked so well ( in my opinion anyway !) I'm quite confident that the rest should turn out o.k . Need to find some suitable fabric for the "skirts" and start work on his weapon(s).
( Sorry about the eye-ball bothering photos , it appears my landing decor doesn't agree with my camera !)
I got my figure that Dorgmal Snow made for me. Man I love the way he came out. the chainsword is a WIP but I think its coming along nicely. Dorgmal Snow you are a master thanks again
That's come out great El Calvo , you can't beat a "classic" like an UltraMarine ! ( That's why I'm retro-fitting my first guy into a Blood Angel !) As for my Grey Knight , the last pics were terrible , so I'm posting more . Sorry for any repetition , but they were bugging me like crazy .
Ahhh cheers mate... my goal is to make each chap better than the last.... the Space Wolf is definitely my favourite I have at them... but the Techmarine is proving tough... but I love it sooooooo much...
