If your stuck for ideas you could always look to the past, pre-heresy era marine Legions for colour schemes

Might be interesting to see Thousand Sons, Luna Wolves or even Emperors Children Schemes given more life

Yeah they would be very cool.... The one Chapter I would love to have a bash at is the Hammers of Dorn... they are soooo cool...

As I said Aly on OSW sent me some amazing bits in the post (YOU THE MAN!) The Tech disk which I am shrink moulding, the tech wall plate from a duo which is stunning and already in use .. some purity seals and a cool head for Wolf Marine ...
I can not thank you enough my friend...

this is what I have done with em so far.. The Wall diio piece I have cast up and I am using just the symbol. I warmed the cast I did up and its possible to bend it around the knee and shoulder..

Also did the first cast of the new bolter... not as perfect as I wanted but I can sort it out... just the mag to make now.

Tight did a wee bit more but every time I photograph it I see another area that needs work or a finger print ...

So I have the belt buckle sorted now and the belt..

I have added some side tubes from the hip/belt to the thigh. The buckle is held in place with a magnet at the moment as I am not to sure how I am gonna do his dangle bit yet..

I have also added some wire work from his shoulder pad to his wrist and worked on the gloves to.

I love the Techmarine symbol and may stick with this one as the other one I am shrinking may be to detailed.

Also made the magazine for the bolter and will make a mould this weekend I hope.

Not sure if I should add the knuckle dusters and wires to the fingers to...

Dorgs, commentary on color.

with the exceptions of Ultramarines ( Who ALWAYS paint their armor blue) and Grey Knights ( who stay unpainted, Except for the right arm, which they paint the color of the machine god)

ALL Tech marines paint their armor the color of the omnissiah.

a nice, Mars Red.

Though, some do paint a single arm the color of their chapter, or a single shoulder-pad or knee-pad.

One shoulder should have the Skull and Cog, and the other should be the Chapter symbol.
