Thats alright. I'll have something to look at while my pictures and video are uploading. :lol

I don't mind the way they do the exclusives now. I know the lottery way they did it or having to go ebay sucks. I understand some want more "exclusive" exclusives.

I think I'm more annoyed that Non-Attendees now get these "Exclusive" SDCC items before anyone even leaves for San Diego. Makes no sense.

Waiting for Non-Attendee Ordering tomorrow.

Anybody NOT interested in this figure want to pick up an extra one for me? :wave

I understand. I think most folks don't since you have traveling time or they tend to get it during the event. You get some that get it like the day before though.

To some extent I agree seeing as we used to get them after SDCC. Guess it's better than adding them to the clogged artery they usually experience after SDCC, trying to get back on track and get everything else out on time.

The idea behind it is that we try to schedule the items to arrive when Comic Con starts, sometimes they get delivered a little faster than we expected.

I'm glad they don't keep these things exclusive to attendees. Just because someone collects toys doesn't necessarily mean they want to listen to comic book or movie panels, walk around in a costume, or stand in endless lines with stench encrusted fat asses who think they look good in sleeveless tshirts.
:lol

Not denying that that's wholly true, but there's more to comic conventions than that narrow-minded perception. You of all people, would appreciate the sheer goldmine of discounted toys that can be had at them. :lol

After having been to Comic-Con 6 times with #7 coming up I don't know how anyone really couldn't have a good time there. Yes, you walk, stand in some lines, and can go to panels. Walking around seeing all the stuff in person well in advance of it coming out and getting behind the scene stuff is just too good to pass up. Plus there is always meeting fellow collectors, folks from say Sideshow, etc. Plus on Sunday's you can always get a good deal or two but not usually before. Its great and I wouldn't trade any of it for anything.

i would love to go to sdcc but to far away and no time is the only reason

Gonna order mine tomorrow. I hope I don't screw up the time zone difference! I look to be exactly 11 and a half hours ahead right now...

I'll order mine tomorrow and have it on display before we even leave for San Diego. :nana:

:peace

(Seriously, I do hate how Sideshow does SDCC now)

I would be SUPER pissed if I was attending the way they have the SDCC reveals now. Tomandshell said it best..."It's like seeing your presents before Christmas" or something to the effect.

Tell the "top men" that some guy on the internet (an avid collector of their wonderful products) hates the way the SDCC reveals are blown before the show. Let's go back to 2009 please.

<3 you guys and gals

What NAM said, but it sure is a beetch to walk around with their exclusives. Thank god for the nice old people who hold bags for a dollar.

What you said.

But Rusty, in the past few years the show has turned into a HUGE fuster cluck, I mean even for Comic-Con. And I have been going since 1996 (off and on). I don't think it's just the Twi-tards either. It's too bookoo for it's own britches.

While I do prefer not seeing things till I get there I will say I understand why they went the other direction. By not taking orders at the show it keeps issues like overselling from happening not to mention all the paper work. Plus it allows them to talk more with folks and sell products.

The hotels and the tickets to get in yes have been an issue. Other than that only the booths where the movie studios are located are a pain. They are expanding the convention center so that will help elevate the congestion overall as well. The rest is just a matter of knowing what areas to take to get around certain trouble spots.

I cant believe these are still available. The Pred last year was gone in seconds!

Not saying this guy is super cool but even the Clone Commander went by fast.

I got my tickets, got a place to stay, just not sure if i wanna deal with SDCC. I went last year (had a 5 day pass) but couldnt last past day 2. Such a cluster ____.

Dunno if this guy is worth it IMO, I just wanna go this year to get a sketch inked and colored but ill end up spending a bunch on artist stuff.

Anyways . . . . yeah surprised this guy is still available!

Hi everyone. Had quick questions if anyone can help answering.

I will be ordering Non-Attendee tomorrow. So how will this work? Will we be charge full tomorrow and wait till July? Or will we have it pre-ordered and get charge until it ships?

Sorry for the noob questions. This will be my first SS SDCC purchase so I'm a bit confused.
