Head is a prototype which must be oversized in order for production figure to be correct size.

I stand by my initial assessment. Looks like a prettier younger Asian cosplayer.

Definite purchase !!!

Although latex like material would have been nice, that would limit the articulation to almost useless. I remember the Medicom Trinity back in the day had that problem. So no complaints from me. Now if they re-issue this with 2 heads after 3 months from release.... that I have a problem with.

That sculpt will need a massive repaint on it to bring out the likeness.
Also while she is petite that body is way too thin! Almost matchstick like! See the thigh portion! and also see the gap in between the legs (near upper thighs) it's almost like a wooden toy with clothes!

Over the years, we've seen a variety of 1:6 Selene inspired figures of varying quality. None of them were ideal.

This one appears to have promise as well being officially licensed. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I too have a suspicion that the figure could end up getting a re-release treatment from Star Ace in terms of a variant set like The Great Escape Steve McQueen sets done soley as a cash grab from collectors.

I suspect though that there will be those who'll get it and then make changes to the costume and the body used since Star Ace does not (thus far) appear to have an ideal female body design that others currently have (i.e. PHICEN, etc.).

I need to watch the films again, but im pretty sure the coat should be longer as it hangs across her ankles in some scenes

I hate to be that guy, but from what i am seeing she looks like a little kid there. I am not sure if its the photo making the figure look that short and big headed or not.

prob just the angle, but the more i see of it the worse it gets. there are some serious proportion issues with it [if its not the angle].

i'll wait till proper promo pics are out, i can see why they try not to allow pics to be taken, the lighting is bad.

U are right and It's not a photo angle. That head is big , her body like a little boy and while Kate is Petit she is nice and curvy at the bottoms / look at that gap in between her legs and then two narrow sticks as thighs. The pischen body was way way more fitting than this one. What a shame cause the base looks great and this could have been a piece of art. Hope they really improve this. This is why hot toys are hot toys - they never make such glaring blunders ....

Come on star ace / this needs a major revamp! This looks like Allen page body with a Kate bobble head ...

yeah it has alot of work to be done to it, not sure how close to the finished product it is, but its a bad idea to showcase a figure that looks this messed up.

Honestly I can't see how the sculpt looks Asian. I think this statement is used far too often on sculpts created by Asian sculptors.
