i wouldn't necessarily say this is close to being a perfect sculpt, but it's a good start.

My best friend finally saw the headsculpt and she said the hair could be a little messier and her skin tone a bit lighter but other than those things she thinks it looks quite good. She's been a fan a little while longer than I have so her opinion holds so weight to me.

Ugh so true, the latex catsuit defines Selene as much as anything.

Yeah, there's no excuse for not using a shiny material other then bigger profit margins.

They'll sell more if they went with a more accurate suit. I know I'd pay more for it.

Agreed. I don't really get their logic. They could scrap the fancy base and give me an accurate Seline HS and costume, and I'd still pay their current suggested MSRP

hopefully they'll rethink their whole non-shiny suit situation. if they actually went with the proper latex outfit, it would kick this piece up an extra 10 notches of cool.

I know - for heavens sake charge 10-20 bucks more but get the figure right! There is absolutely no excuse for the outfit they showed us. In my view just kills the figure. Sometimes honestly I pray that good licenses remain with hot toys. Others are just not capable. Look at threezero what a disaster on walking dead etx. I think the only two other companies to ever make great stuff are blitzway (Tyler) and enterbay (old releases) but both are where they are on scale and frequency

I think star ace got the sculpt for Selene pretty close - but the old outfit they showed - hope that's being fixed - else we are looking at a sub par release!

hopefully any sort of delay maybe due to something getting improved upon? fingers crossed. hopefully its a positive delay and not a negative one.
