That picture. She had me at staring at space. Man she sure is a beautiful lady. Kudos for posting the picture. It makes me stop thinking about the starace selene for a while and marvel at the real kate beckinsale.

It's amazing she was never picked to play Lara Croft, when you see her with the ponytail up.

Man, I'm bummed by these pics. I guess I should be thankful I don't have to rustle up the money for this figure, but the overall figure just doesn't scream that it's worth the money for me. There are a things I like about it, but overall I feel like it's a bit of a let-down considering some of the other stuff Star Ace puts out.

looks like made in an unlicensed custom section. a very useful and respectable section, as they often produce figures nobody wants to make officially. usually costs $130-150. like Mike Harrigan on ebay.

universal soldiers are $200-250 on secondary market, meaning their sellers include their profit into the price, and they have vastly superiour headsculpts and paint on them, looking like real actors on some professional photos, and more complex clothes and gear.
so yep, $150 max.

Compare her to similar priced HT BvS Batman.

MSRP on that figure is what, 250? Horrible looking hair, minimalistic paint aps and the she is clearly too tall.

Do you need other peoples opinions on what you feel is worth it to you? If you like it, get it. Doesn't matter what anyone thinks.

At the end of the day.. Get what makes you happy man.. I think she is an okay figure. Not a wow. Amazing , stunning figure. Perhaps itll be easier to cave say like if she was 100-125. Bt even then i wouldnt pay. With the fans boys( me, you included ) is that we have been longing for A Good,accurate, hottoys standard selene figure to own. And many of us thought this officially licensed starace selene would be it. And it falls short. On so many accounts. ( just my opinion ) im hoping that in the near future perhaps a third party would rework or released a selene headsculpt that looks great in sculpt and paint . But its not entirely a loss, to the people that likes it. Its a plus. For those who didnt.. We'll just wait for the right selene i guess.

I say hottoys standard cause even when they dont get the sculpt right entire right,their attention to detail on the other aspects of the figure are top notch. So if the price is on the highside. The quality and finishing has to be on the highside too.

Wow, she looks a lot better. Still something off but we have the right to nitpick considering the price. The bridge is still noticeable and I feel the face should be a bit rounder. Wonder if there's something we could use to give the suit a glossy latex look. Anyone here ordered one early from China?

If those new pics were at 1:1, then I would say it looks pretty good for a 5-6" figure, but this is 11-12", and it's still disappointing.
