I received my Super Duck Popeye a couple of weeks ago and put the TYSToys head with it and had to share. I was surprised I couldn't find a thread for this.

For a quick review, the tailoring on the Super Duck outfit is fantastic. The main issue is that his right leg is longer than his left leg.
I would probably have to disrobe him to figure out how something like that could happen and I am not ready to do that yet. If you bend his longer leg he can still stand and it is not noticeable. I have seen the TYSToys Popeye head around for a while but it seems like the supply has now dried up. I think I bought the last one from Aliexpress. The Super Duck head is okay but I preper this one.

I grew up watching Popeye cartoons and love the Mezco version so this was a must for me.

Cool, wish I can find the head now. Here is mine. This Super Duck is actually based on a artist work. By the way, I saw off bits of the longer leg to solve the uneven length issue

I know this is an older post but does the figure come with that yellow belt or did you have to find one?

Recently got this during Ekia’s sale where he was already only $99. Anyway love the head sculpt because it’s a mix of cartoony and a dash of Robin Williams on top of it. Felt the boots where too thin, so switched them out for some Dragon in Dreams WWII boots that I painted brown and did some weathering and dry brushing on. They are bulbus enough to give that cartoon feel. Cut up and stuffed some make-up sponges down them so they fit tight around the feet I put on him and so the boots weren’t loose. I did remove the black belt and made a cloth yellow belt for him and heated up the smoke plum to bent it a little so it wasn’t coming out at an angle. Super Duck did an amazing job on him. Hard to find any kind of review on him. Going to make him a custom stand to finish him off.
