I’m very excited for this figure to come out. Looks awesome

Very curious to see how this fig comes out, but I still think they messed up a few smaller details that together make it look a bit off, even vs how the Tusken appears in Mando itself, not just OT (they do look kinda different in Mando vs OT.)

The eye tubes seem too small, the mouth slightly off shape wise and other stuff like the width of the chin barrel and the too-small leather pouches just make it look a tad awkward overall. None are hugely off, really sort of nitpick stuff (other than the eye tubes maybe,) but combined it seems to throw it off.

It's still going to be an awesome fig but this doesn't seem to be one of those times where HT just nailed the look.

Yeah while I think they look pretty good, I’ll be sticking with the old Sideshow one as I prefer that look for a Tusken Raider over these guys.

Hot Toys rarely/never weathers materials because they can't make them the same every time.

Regardless of screen inaccuracies these are going in the OT collection with the Jawas. There were more than just one Tusken raiding party on Tatooine, plus this lot would’ve been around during the OT.

Btw now would’ve been a great opportunity for Cobb Vanth. A figure that would’ve made far more sense than Yelena (or whatever her name is) to release on the same day as the Tusken Raiders.
