1/6th Bowler Hat?

I am looking to recreate a more 'realistic' Riddler like this fake Batman movie poster.
I cannot find a 1/6th bowler hat, Riddler cane, or 1/6th purple glasses...any ideas where these can be found?

Trying to beat me to the punch huh? lol there is a tutorial on how to make 1/6th hats out of felt on the osw forum do a quick search and you'll find it. That's what I was going to do. As for the glasses try and find some that are the right shape and repaint the frames...its tedious work but probably your best option

There is also a figure from the old TV Avengers show that had a bowler hat. It was connected to the headsculpt so it would take a bit of work to remove it, but it was plastic if you are looking for a material you could paint the right color you want.

I also need two bowlers... but one needs to be smaller than the other (think Laurel and Hardy). What do you charge for the casts?

That's not quite a bowler. It's more squared off on top than a bowler is. A real bowler is round on top.

Looks like I have tracked down a bowler hat (another member is going to cast one for me) and there are a few glasses on eBay that might work. I don't think the tie is going to be a problem.

Many clothes for 1/6 figures aren't made from material you can bleach, dye or strip the color from. They may be rayon or some plastic type material (lots of 21st Century clothing items come to mind). So keep that in mind.

Been looking for one myself.
The one that Elvis1976 used for his riddler looked pretty good.

Possibly getting a custom (ie: recast) Riddler can from China, now to find some glasses, and get some TT foot pegs and black socks.

Anyone know if these glasses are true 1/6th? I know the title says 1/6th, but the size is confusing to me since I am not sure what size glasses fit on a True Type head...

Glad to see I'm not the only one that bought that suit with the Riddler in mind!

I am not going to use the white undershirt or the 'purple' tie; the tie is iridescent and looks like crap in person. I think I am either going to use a black tie and get a green question mark for it or a green tie with a black question mark. I am really trying to avoid the overtly comic look.

My guess those glasses are a bit on the big side, and defintately the completely wrong style in the image you are aiming for. I'd avoid them. I think the glasses that came with Sideshow's Giles are the closest match in the scale that I can think of. Maybe a Gameitoy doctor figure came with some rectangular ones too. Not sure.

I haven't decided what shirt/tie combo I'm going with yet either. I guess I need to get on with getting the bowler hat now though

Will Sideshow heads fit onto a True Type? The Giles head is actually a hell of alot closer to the look than the True Type generic head I am using and those glasses are perfect.

As I said earlier, this is my first custom so I am not sure what I am doing...
