It’s a dumb ass batmobile that should never serve as anyone’s only Batmobile.
..... but a half Batmobile will never be cooler than a full Batmobile.
What we really need is a 1:6 version of this concept .... :lol

Edit:
Just realized Lucius Fox must have been working a side hustle selling trade secrets to the competition.

Now I really want a Batman x Carmen Sandiego crossover.

I hate you guys, the one time I needed references for my model kit a while back and all of a sudden the blue prints come out hahaha.

It’s like finding cockpit photos of the bat ski boat, it’s all up to interpretation at that rate.

I grew up with the Kenner toys, like WorGar I had the model kits growing up, the Batmobile batmissile that split up, even the hot wheels toys, for me the batmissile is a done deal, either way I look at it, the eight wheels just feels normal to me because that entire sequence visually makes no sense but it was cool at the time lol.

All of a sudden a few frames later Alfred must have picked up the panels that flew off the Batmobile because when Bruce is in the bat cave, he’s working on the “engine” and the Batmobile is “whole” again. As much as I love Batman returns that movie makes no sense, now I’m nitpicking the returns costume reissue.

PD. Whoooaa not looking forward to that rechargeable battery, I’ve already had LED wiring problems with the 89 Batmobile that I’m not looking forward to maintaining this piece ten years down the road, i hope they make the rechargeable battery easy to swap out

Where did you see it has rechargeable battery?

Sideshow detail only list USB powered

  • Detailed cockpit with LED light-up dashboard panel (USB operated)
  • LED light-up function at back of the vehicle to simulate flame effect (orange light, USB operated)

Ohh I was watching that review video with the guy who had his first impressions and noticed the cabled plugged into the wall, he mentioned it was “battery”, I assumed it was rechargeable, what a massive relief to be honest. LOL.

My dudes as much as you guys want that bat ski boat, it would be bigger than the Batmobile.

So will hot toys ever release the bat computer?

Returns is the first Batman movie I remember seeing growing up, my dad took me to see the 89 movie but I don’t remember the experience, I just know I went to the theater. However returns is special in the sense that the movie theater’s power went off, right at the scene were the vehicle splits and they had to start it over from the beginning.

For that reason I consumed everything from that movie, I had the entire Kenner action figure collection, the batcave command center, the vehicles, the first sega genesis game I saved up to buy was Batman returns(49.95), my cousin had the snes game and I remember playing it straight through four hours non stop on vacation. Back when retailers used to stock up on toys, the New York Toys R Us across the Macy’s by 34th street made my child hood. Seeing those batmobiles stacked up to the ceiling is a memory I will never forget.

As silly as the vehicle may be, it’s a pinnacle in my collection, lol idk, returns just hits me different versus the rest of the other Batman movies, its not nostalgia but this movie had the coolest merchandise IMHO and it’s finally great to have detailed higher scaled versions of them.

If you own all the Batmobile then this is a nice addition I guess if you have the additional funds but a half Batmobile will never be cooler than a full Batmobile.

The full Batmobile is twice the size of the Batmissile.

Obviously, if you have the room and the money, having both is best. If only one, having the Batmobile is best. But if money - or shelf space - is at a premium, then the Batmissile might be cool enough.

Same with the Batpod vs the Tumbler.

With staying light on spoilers, what did I miss? I haven't watched the show and am not too keen on doing so yet).
It’s a completely different take on Penguin. Don’t see why it would affect how you feel about Burton / Devito’s version which remains iconic imo.

Did Hot toys add any more wheels while I was away? What are we up to 12 wheels now?
Also, can someone tell me how this sumbitch turns? Does Batman throw his weight in the seat to "tip" the car for a "hard" right?

Obviously this was where all those weekends drifting cars during his teen years finally paid off for Bruce lol…

It's batman, he has a bat crane that comes to pick him up every time he needs to turn slightly. But on the straights, he's a demon 😈
