The term "high end" is very relative. I consider 1:6 high end because it costs an arm and a leg.

I disagree. Hot Toys figures in particular, tend to look better than most PF's I've seen/have. Those are very much high end figures.

I disagree... currently a lot of 1/6 figures are even more sophisticated than any PF...

FYI, lots of 1/6 figures are approaching PF prices, and Legendary Scale can't even be included yet as nobody owns one.

I figure "high end" is relative to a collectible type. Hot Toys are high end action figures (vs. Hasbro or Mattel). Sideshow statues are high end statues (vs. Gentle Giant or Bowen ). Etc.

High end 1/6 are close to low price PFs yes but you cant compare the top of one to bottom of other and actually there have been 1/2 scale out just were not named legendary scale.

That's a bunch of BS. I have lots of 1/6 that blow PFs out of the water. Actually PFs aren't all that for the most part. People that come to my place are blown away by likeness, not by size, and we all know HT has the edge there.

I seem to remember that being more of a 50/50 situation. Last year I recall a number of prices being listed as TBD.

Even removing HT from the equation, the 1:6 Palpatine blows the PF cleanly from the water.
