What did you do?

Didn't fix the T Visor issues... think he was wanting more helmet flare at the bottom, but can't really tell.

This was so important for me. Now I know I can make the best possible Fett out there minus the visor shape.

Couldn't you have fixed this while the visor was out?

? what do you mean? About the visor, I mean all I can't fix is the fact that it's too curved. Not worth resculpting and doesnt really bother me. This Fett will be awesome.

It doesn't seem like it would take much fill, but couldn't you over dremel to make the curves match better or do you think that would have left you too wide?

Nope, Already pressed it together, like in the pick. Still fits fine. Just requires glue now or it wont fit because of the pressure.

So I did a mod to give him more flare. Make him look more badass.

I cut out a piece of plastic from a SS star wars stand (only thing theyre good for IMO <_<' Hate stands except for the pretty HT or exclusive ones. ) And glues it between the back part of his helmet, pushing the ends outwards more. Now the helmet is about 4 mm wider, which is a lot in 1/6 world. Don't mind the visor, when I glue the visor to the center, it will all come together lovely, already tried to look when I pushed them together with my fingers, but couldnt photograph it.. cause Im out of hands when I do it.

The Mod:

In the mod pic, is that the piece of plastic I see running behind the neck socket?

Is it possible to do this mod without having to breakaway the visor?

I think so. But I;m not sure the visor's glue would hold. It's also held together by 2 small pins so they might break, they broke on mine. Just FYI.

I would recommend taking it apart at your own risk just so you can get a feel of it. It's also just easier to get the small piece of plastic in. Remember it needs to be a hard piece of plastic, not bendy, or it wont work (I tried.) And it's glued stuck.

But I suppose it could work without taking it apart.

1. How's the modded helmet looking from the side view? That splay's got to take from somewhere. And this helmet has several major issues in terms of screen accuracy, the base flare is only one of them.

2. This stuff really should be in the Boba customisation thread. This thread is for people to discuss their purchased SSC Boba - even its screen accuracy issues or comparison pics to Medis or whatever. It's not the place for pics of hacked up helmets.

And the SS boba custom thread should be in the star wars custom thread. So far people have replied here, so I see no foul in it, not trying to show the paint work, mereily showing people how to get rid of the dome issue, or well, as you pointed out. ONE of the dome issues.

Now I just posted this to show people. The sideview isnt really noticabe anywhere. Except maybe a little space behind the earpiece.. Like.. half a mm. But don;t know if that is just because I dont have glue yet, or its actually staying that way. Remember, the overal size doesnt change, just the shape. Its flatter in the back.

What's funny is they used ALL of Boba's hands for Zartan...

well they did give Zartan the 2 fingered bow drawing hand,

really i thought it was just the paint that was different?
