IMO, this looks so much better from their 1st Buzz. The likeness, both expressions and specially the paint work this time. Glad I pre-ordered!

He looks great! I almost let go of this preorder because it felt unnecessary having both versions, but seeing him in that video makes me pleased that I kept the order. I assumed they'd recycle the head sculpts, but they appear to be even higher quality and different expressions. I totally didn't realize that this new version has different head sculpts.

Exactly bro. Both headsculpts look terrific! And I'm happy for you that you didn't cancel it haha. Please do share your wonderful photos when you get yours!

I totally missed this one, have the first release but there is something really cool about this one and getting Sox is a nice touch as not many Soxs got made originally if i remember right. Shame i missed the pre order but hopefully find one when its released. Tailoring on that suit looks really good

Some size comparisons courtesy Mr. Lee again. He is taller than Space Ranger Buzz, but I must say he looks so damn premium. Gong is killing it!

Very surprised to see he's taller! This looks like such a high quality figure for the price, especially as he's licensed.

That video has me confused about the head sculpts again though, haha. Is he using the new head on the old body? I don't recall a smiling purple helmet sculpt with the original figure and the face here looks more detailed than the originals, but it also looks as tanned as the heads in the first release.

Hahaha I guess you are absolutely right. These indeed are the headsculpts from the new figure. The old one didn't come with that expression and as you said, this masked one looks really detailed than the first figure.

That's exactly what I was thinking bro when I saw both of these videos. It looked almost like a Hot Toy. So good!

Im guessing the size difference may be due to using a body for the new release where as the suited Buzz didnt have a figure body as they crafted it? Might be wrong but could explain it. Either way shouldnt notice it if you pose them differently

Those photos are just wild! There is so much life and personality due to their choice of eyebrow positioning, the relaxed eyelids and that smirk with the little creases. Hot Toys have a tendency to make their characters have really wide open eyes and expressionless eyebrows, which makes them either look a bit "dead" or like they're terrified of something. Looks like their Buzz didn't escape this either. Even with the moveable eyes, he doesn't come close Gong's version.

The Hot Toys falls short if the Gong figure by so much. The only issue I have with the Gong figure is the weird restriction they placed on the bicep swivel.
