just got mine today -- like it despite the flaws (loads of loose threads on my leia's dress, and that's really it actually) -- though mine does has an errant swipe of brown paint on one side of the nose -- is there any way to remove the excess bit without harming the rest of the paint? or should i just send it back for a replacement? any ideas anyone?

Nothing serious really comes to mind, I could do lovers shots, but it's not appropriate for those incarnations, I only did it with Bespin Han to show how they looked together, but depending on the hands and all with ANH Han, there's some room for humorous stuff, "I take orders from one person, me!"

I had success in the past with a very small amount of thinners or nail polish remover on a Qtip ( so that the q tip is almost dry) some people have even said rubbing with water will get the paint offf ...so tip. try water first

Leia has been drinking her milk and eating her vegetables cause she has gotten bigger from EpIV to EpVI...
Yeah I never got that; why didn't they use the short female body for ROTJ Leia too? She wasn't any taller then than when they made ANH, so they should both be on the short body. Was it to accommodate the costume? It's still great, but Leia is so tiny that she really needs that extra drop in height.

How much shorter do you think she should be? It's quite a short figure as is.

I meant Boussh/Boushh. Put her on the small body so she matches ANH Leia.

Ahhhh, that thought crossed my mind, I think it'd look even more like Boussh in the film too because being shorter would bulk up the body a bit. I just don't know a good source for another SSC body like Leia's.

I may wait and do some sourcing over Christmas. I do have an extra Vamp Willow body, but Im not sure if that is short enough AND she has no feet.

Well it wouldn't really matter since she's wearing boots, but she really should be on the shorter body. I wonder if Jabba wasn't suspicious of her from the start, I mean come on, some little 5 foot dude walks in dragging a massive wookie in tow as a captive? I'd be asking questions . . .

OK...I have solved the Princess Leia dress dilemma once and for all. I took a page from one of the more talented customizers on these very forums who used wire in the hem of (I think) a cloak on one of the figures whose cloak had no wire. I threaded the wire into the hem of Leia's dress and it works VERY well. I need to do some futzing to get it to look right, but it looks 80% better with minimal futzing. I will get a couple of pics up in the AM.

I can't wait to see how it looks! I'll likely go for a whole new gown with a different fabric, but I really do wanna see how the wire helps.
