I agree. At first I thought it looked a little off when I first saw it, but looking at it more closely and especially in the video won me over, I think the sculpt is perfect.

Yeah, but more precisely I think they captured more of Obi-Wan in the sculpt. Kind of like the Mace Windu figure is a great Mace Windu... but doesn't quite look so good just as Samuel L Jackson.

I think the sculpt really captures the character of Obi Wan. And Maul Fan is probably also right about the wierd fake beard parts interfering with his badassitude at time in the movie.

ps-Even if you hold the Ben up to a photo of Alec Guinness, you'll instantly see it's far from 'perfect'... But your photos with the doll inserted look sensational, I really love those.

These two pics I really see it. With the right lighting and such. I can't wait to see it in hand. Right now though I think the other two Ben's matched the actors better. However, I like this expression so much. I just can't wait to see the final piece. Even if it looks just like this at the end I will be more than happy.

Finally slowing down at work tonight and stunned to see so many posts about this figure!

hats of to Trev for the great sculpt, and this really looks to reinvigorate people on the SW line. I've had a lot of confidence that this line will have a ton of variety and be incredibly deep, and figures like this seem to reaffirm that.
