A full frontal nude gay love scene for Bond?

:sick

:eek: And in the first article he says he had "too munch" nudity in CR. Now he wants a gay scene? That is just weird. I admit it would be a new twist for Bond, but :horror :pow :yuck :thwak :nono

But one of the other articles says Connery wants to come back to Bond. Perhaps as Bond's father (which wouldn't work since Bond is an orphan). A Bond villian role would be great though!

Read my post, plus that's just Connery saying what he'd do and they treat it like some big news when it's nothing!

That's what E.T. would look like if he were human!

Sorry... that does not look like Daniel Craig to me, and certainly not the version we saw in Casino Royale.
looks pretty decent to me except for the hair. hair looks nothing like in Casino.

Well I'm glad the gay scene was out of context. That would just be weird for Bond.

I still think the Connery idea is a good one. If he is willing to do something I think that is great. I miss having him in films. Maybe he could be the new Q if Cleese doesn't come back?

sorry... but I think the only thing that looks vaguely right on that sculpt is possibly the lower lip. Just doesnt look like him to me... and hell, is someone else was making a 12" figure of me? I'd be picky as hell as well!! lol

good for him

You know honestly, if that was sideshows sculpt, I think that is one of their best if not their best 12" sculpt ever. At least from that picture it is.

It may be their best sculpt, its just not a sculpt of Daniel Craig. Thats actually my High School janitor. :rotfl

I don't know who NightCreeper's source is, but I was able to get my hands on this beauty and it truly is Sideshow's best 12" ever. I think it's a spot-on Craig likeness. I snapped a picture, you can decide for yourself:

Connery as a villain would be great (he was the only watchable thing in the horrid movie version of the beloved THE AVENGERS)... Imagine Craig being taken in front of the big boss who's turned around in his chair lovingly stroking his white persian cat----- he rotates and voila "Welcome to the rock." Excellent...

And Craig will do two more Bonds (Casino was the first in a trilogy of connected movies--- the Croatian doc from ER is going to be the baddie in the next one and he had some conection to Bond's lost love---).

The sculpt is horrid... hair... and what the hell is he wearing?

Tux or the outfit he had on in Madagasgar when he chases after Sebastien Foucan.

Well this is good news, at least they haven't abandoned it all together, at least not yet anyways. Funny thing is if all actors have this kind of say maybe the bad sculpts aren't so much sideshow's fault as how the actors seem themselves. As for the accuracy of the sculpt...we've seen how pictures don't always do a sculpt justice and that picture doesn't have the best resolution (Is that the right word?).

1. That sculpt can be repurposed into a Steve McQueen Bullitt figure. Sideshow could do with a few more actors demanding some QC on their likenesses;

2. I think the guys complaining about Craig not being "good looking" enough need to do some soul-searching;

3. The "news" articles are the same rags that reported that he couldn't do fight scenes or drive the car. But go on believing everything you read, it probably livens up the day.

The sculpt does nothing for me. To be fair, it is one small picture and is hard to tell. Please do keep Connery out of Bond though. It would only turn out badly

I think the sculpt is good, though I do have to agree it's somewhat angry looking. The hair could use some work aswell.

But, I don't understand the criticism Craig is still receiving. I mean, I'd rather have Craig being demanding about the next movies and them being good, instead of going back to a Brosnan CGI-crapfest. I think some people will just have to come to terms with him being Bond. Is it that hard to accept him? I just don't get it when someone finds the way Craig looks more important than his, by the way excellent, acting performance. The stories about the gay-scenes is just a blown up joke made by Craig, and if it's in the movie I don't really see a problem with it. We're living in emancipated world, right?:cool:

Oh, and by the way Craig isn't a God. He isn't supposed to do everything according to the books. I really dislike it when people expect actors or celebrities to act like saints.

Just my two cents :monkey5 , hope the figure will show up soon.

You see, Craig is just as anal retentive about Sideshow figures as the rest of us. He's not gonna settle for a second-rate paint job and a lanky Buck body either! :lol

:lol :lol :lol

I've said it before, but I think that sculpt is pretty spot on. Don't know what the rest of you are looking at. And I think they have abandoned it if they're telling us Craig wouldn't approve it.

If an actor just says "I don't like it" and gives you nothing to go on - do you just keep making random changes?

I think we're all looking at a sculpt who bears no resemblence to Daniel Craig other than it being a sculpt of a male. Which pic are you looking at?
But, I would agree, its probably a done deal. No Craig Bond for us. :monkey2
