Yuh, I'm totally on this! I had a feeling Bespin Han would be first too...that seemed to be the consensus. My bet is Hoth/Bespin white suit Leia will be next after Han...What will Han's exclusive be? Perhaps it is the mask! Or a mynock, as has been previously mentioned...LOL! Hope he comes with a bunch of M.F. accessories...welding goggles, hydro-spanner, etc...as well as his Bespin hand-cuffs. A carbonite Han would be an amazing bonus, but doubtful, due to it's size! Still awesome to see that this is first. So far I'm 4 for 4 on the exclusives...hopefully this'll make 5!!!

Ha... I cannot believe they would tease us by covering his face. i think it's pretty funny... I'm sure the sculpt will be great. Glad its Han. When I here the name "Heroes of the Rebellion" he is the first to come to mind. Would love to see Chewie as #2 but I know he will be incredibly difficult to produce.

I love the name "Bespin" Han. It feels like a throw back the 80's Kenner figures where Han in the long Jacket was always called "Bespin Han".

I'm not sure what the exclusive could be... Mynock is the best bet.

Not going to comment on the eyes, way too early and picture is inconclusive, so I'll just say I love the choice of character and costume.

A very nice surprise at that. No interest in the 1/4 version so this way Han will be able to make his way into my collection.

Why is everybody commenting that it's called Bespin Han Solo and he's shown in the space slug's belly? He's wearing the same jacket and pants throughout the whole movie except outside on Hoth. This version of the character is commonly known as Bespin Han. Oh yeah and he finally takes the damn jacket off for the frozen ride to Pizza the .....I mean Jabba the Hutt.

I can't wait! Then again, it could be Lobot and I'd be happy. I think a mynock would be a great exclusive, but they're too big. Maybe they'll give Han some tools to get the Falcon working.

I am honestly surprised they chose Han, as he will be so similar to the current PF version. I thought they wanted to keep away from having duplicate versions of the same character on the market at the same time.

how is he similar? the shirt is different, the pants are different, he's wearing a blue coat, not a black vest.

a duplicate version would be to make the ANH han solo in 1/6th scale.

Yeah, Han just doesn't excite me much. I like the character but having stuff of him doesn't excite me much.

How exactly does the breath mask protect Han and the gang against the vaccuum of space and the horrible cold and weightlessness again? I mean aren't the breath masks just the same as the ones that come down in the unlikely event of a sudden cabin depressorization in an airplane?

I thought they might hold off doing this until after Toy Fair because the order would be going up that weekend. At the same time, I'm not surprised. I will probably order this though.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the face looks different from the Premium Format version. I guess it is because it is the 'Empire' version. I don't think his eyes are blue either.

Another thing, you guys are joking about the face mask not coming off right? I hope so. In the picture, the strap looks like it is elastic. I haven't seen anywhere Sideshow saying it will not come off. I really doubt they would do that.

I guess they're far enough down the gullet of the space worm to survive. Heat and moisture. Who knows!

hmmm. . . han is my favorite character, so i was pretty excited to see him produced in 1/6 scale, but i was rather hoping for the rotj/ endor outfit so he "fit" with luke (plus, take off the trench coat and you more or less have the classic anh outfit, which, personally, was my favorite) -- and, i guess it's too early to comment on the sculpt, but it doesn't scream han to me at the moment -- looks a bit like timothy dalton -- maybe it's the blue eyes. . .

I'm pretty excited about it just to add Han to my collection. Looks pretty good so far, though a little off with the little things.. like eye color.. But, sideshow will fix it in time, they usually do. It's going to rock, no matter what.

Just glad to have this line off to a start!
