Wow.. this just flat out sucks. Ah well, at least I can make sure my credit card has nothing on it for when they show up.

If Legolas ain't gonna make it for the 4th qtr., I'm sure Boromir won't either. Looks like the Fellowship is going to be a long, long wait.

Honestly though, how many of us didn't see it comming? Aragorn was supposed to be August, ended up as late September/October. So really we can push most releases back by about 2 months and have a much more accurate guess of when they will show up.

Decided to bit the bullet today and place myself on the waitlist for Legolas and Boromir. I know its late in the game, but after getting Aragorn and thinking about it I at least need to get the fellowship :monkey3

Agreed. I think SSC was just a tad ambitious with the release schedule. Suits me though - now I don't feel as bad for going mad with pre-orders. I'd probably be kicking myself if I hadn't preordered because I thought I might not be able to afford it at the time.

i'm all in for the delay if it means that they are doing that to improve the figure. that is if they found out that there are certain espects that can be made better or the figure isn't good enough to their liking.

all good with me. Saves me money. Plus, I hope, they are doing something right with the paint job or ,what not.

Something more to blame on the Star Wars line. I bet some people will cancel now, says the waitlister who is still waiting for any of the exclusives to convert...

Who knows it may be something like "In collaboration for the XX th anniversary for the release of the Fellowship of the Ring movie, we are now shipping the last 12" figure that completes the fellowship..." what number will the XX be... you will never know... I believe New Line will still want to continue to earn big bucks from releasing all the different versions of the same movie...and all related companies...
