Beat me to it!!

Yes, this was a cool and unexpected addition to the blog. They have found a way to surpass the reveal of the unpainted sculpt via a JPG. QT is great!

(And I like the hair!)

Pretty impressive. I still can't wait to get more pics of this though.

Totally, first sculpt turnaround ever! Who is The Sculptor, anyone know?

The sculpt really looks great. Much better than the Russell Crowe version I had grown used to. But I'm not crazy about the hair in the back -- not that its back there, just that it looks more like a scarf or do-rag or something.

Hair does look shaped a bit weird at places but the profile is Killer!

It looks great! Perfect likeness and I like the tied back hair sculpt. I just got my pre-order email notice, too. I can't wait for Friday.

Please link only to the Production Blog por favor! Evil Chris doesn't likey direct links to movies.:monkey4

My bad Chris, I'm still a little Freaky. I'll never do that again! :slap

It looks great! The early preview pics Sideshow gave us did not do it justice. Not my favorite character, but could turn out to be one of the best Jedi figures. I can't wait to find out what the exclusive is!

I really like the movie too. You can pause it then move it around slowly and get a good look at it.

Definitely looks like one of the better likenesses in this view. Hopefully the production paint apps do it justice.

I'm not sure I understand the logic behind the hair. Done thin enough, it wouldn't hinder articulation. Also, the top of the hair didn't need to be a seperate piece.

All that aside, I'm really looking forward to Qui-Gon. Regardless of who sculpted it (although I've noticed hearing Andy's or Matt's names attached to any particular sculpt automatically ups the general enthusiasm for the piece), it looks marvelous! Can't wait to see what all he comes with. I'm expecting a few surprises!!:monkey1

Very good sculpt, love the profile especially. I think that the hair will look much better when painted. Personally, I think it works... Can't wait to see the prototype!!

Take the f_cking elephant that is jawesome! I can't wait, well I actually have to, for this figure to come out.

Wow! Haven't seen much of Oulf's in a while. I guess this line expalins Andy and him have been MIA for so long. Well, Andy did sculpt just about everything anounced at Toyfair too :D

Oluf knocked this one outta the park, one of his best ever in my opinion. :rock

Totally agree Andy, Oluf's profile sculpt alone is simply Amazing. Was wondering who did this, thanks for the info.

ps I'm really liking the two-part sculpting technique, it gives so much more dimension to the piece. What a talented crew you guys have!
