Thanks everyone for the kind words! Happy that I finally nailed the painting process.

Just a little something I started working on today. Literally 10 minutes ago so it isn't much but thought I might share as a teaser. Haven't done BD work in a while so this more or less a test.

For one, adding BD to this is way more fun than making a clear version.

May I change my order to 1 BD and 1 MIDAS faceplate?

I'll see how it goes. Not really my main focus right now but the main reason I wanted to split the BD and MIDAS into another thread was so that it doesn't get mixed up with this one. Figure it would just be easier to work around with a different thread for those two and keep this one primarily for the clean faceplate. That's something I'll think about more when I the proper time comes.

Would also be nice to have MIDAS in hand if it wasn't taking so damn long for that figure to pop up..

Received address from the first 3, still didn't hear back from one member. Was suppose to receive my bulk order of 100 shipping bubble envelope last week but they never came so the new shipment of them should be arriving this Tuesday.

Trying to paint as much as I can before December as the weather will drop too low for me to paint properly. Should be able to finish Batch 1 by the end of the next 2 weeks and then I'll do as much as I can before the cold winter hits.

For those who sent me PM's and payments, I'll get around to it all as soon as possible.

I am no longer taking payment. The list is closed..for now.

If you sent payment then you're in but I am not longer accepting orders from this point until I open it again.

To clear a couple of things:

1) If you want a BD Faceplate you can have one in REPLACE of a faceplate you already have on order. This is strictly for those who want to change a clean faceplate to a BD. I'm not allowing a BD faceplate to be added on at this point so if you want a extra faceplate as a BD, just wait until I open orders for that. That will be seperate in the near future. If you recently sent me payment for BD, that's fine.

2) If you ordered MIDAS, I have said this last month that it will be the standard gold you see in my pictures but without the red. I understand that MIDAS has a slightly different shade of gold which is just barely lighter but I have no proper time to experiment properly and people have sent payment for MIDAS. I just want this to be clear. I may experiment one this week so wait for a further update on this by the end of this week as I'll be wanting feedback.

3) There will be a slight price bump when I open this again, roughly $5. I've spent a considerable amount on paint and the labor is very time consuming. I didn't take this into account before simply because I didn't know until I actually tackled the project. To those who have ordered already, consider your orders an early Pre-Order special. The price bump is mainly to cover the paint supplies. I use roughly 5 cans for roughly 25 faceplates and that cost about $40. Didn't know I would blow through this many cans to cover such a small amount of faceplate. Tamiya spray cans are only 100ml for about $7 a can which is absurd but their gold is spot on. Price bump might not affect International price. Just the price for shipped within the US.

I'll count all the faceplates I have and see if there are left overs. If there are, they'll be up for grabs for BD for anyone who has faceplates ordered already. I believe I have a couple of extras but I need to count to double check.

I haven't had Batch 4 casted yet so I actually might just open up a run for BD faceplates for those in Batch 1-4.

Leave it open for a week and then have those casted along with those who already ordered for Batch 4. I imagine that works better for everyone who has faceplates on order and want a BD one as well.
