This figure is so hot that it's on backorder. Sideshow can't get them in fast enough to keep up with the demand.

I think they're just taking their time. Medicom's aren't really a substitute for their own work as the scale is different, and I'm sure Sideshow wants figures that fit in with their own line. As for me, Vader isn't really important for me to have right now, if ever. I'd rather get Captain Antilles or some more Jedi.
