I like the smile...wouldn't you rather see Michael looking happy? If you want non-happy, go with the dead looking head.
and for the record, I may get this one- this looks like the Michael Jackson I choose to remember, not the pale zombie mess he became.

not only is it a silly expression, but the smiling head loses a lot of the likeness IMO.

Yeah i think so too,plus i don`t think a Smiling Head is the right choice to represent Thriller,the first Head was perfect for a Thriller imo.

The second. The smile looks like its exuding confidence, which is nice. And I think it look more like Michael.

I think the first works well for the concept of "Thriller," I guess, but I the second one is a touch better. I think if you're going to put him in any dancing pose, the smiling/smirk sculpt works 100 times better than the stone face.

I was ready to preorder from Toy Square, then I saw the new updated smiling head and decided not to.
There might be a second exclusive version of the Thriller figure with the serious expression, I just wish I knew before placing an order.
