Looks good! I've like the way DOOM has looked in these Movies - One of the few saving qualities this Franchise has had so far!

I don't like that pic, so I'm reserving judgement till I see him in action...cos I loved the art for his new look.

It looks like he's wearing a rubber-body suit with no armor on his arms. And his face reminds me of GG from the Spider-Man movie. It's very hard to judge from that photo.

I agree.....I'm sure it'll look better in the movie....it doesn't look impressive so far by the pic alone...

I fianlly saw 1 after much hesitation, and it's what I thought it would be, awful. This is 1 franchise that they really f'd up on. I know a lot of folks like it, some genuinely, some out of fan-boy need, but I think the problem is not enough people DO like it. There's a huge force of people who hate it. At least with Spidey and X-Men (minus x3) most people, comic fans or not, loved those flicks, but F4 man....why? Why'd they have to mess it up? Why does Sue Storm look like a 12 year old with a bad bleach job? Why does Doom look like a joke? WTF Marvel?!?!

OK, whatever, I'm done with my early AM rant about how bitter I feel that they jacked this franchise up.

I don't thin One is as bad as everyone makes out - I think is fun - like AvP fun... Chris Evans was great in it. And the small amount of Alba cleavage was great in the FF costume - Should have keep in in! Would have been a way better movie for it!

I'm still having a problem with Doom actually having super powers. The movie is basically the Fantastic 5...but one went bad.

This looks worse than the first version of Doom. Call me a pessimist but I think we have seen the best of that movie on the trailer with the Surfer going around the city.

I blame the director. He's at the helm, after all. He has the final say on art direction, FX, etc. If the look's not right, it's up to the director to figure it out and say, "No, change it." The buck stops with him.

In the case of the Doom pic, it looks like bad CGI. Might be that it's just a rough cut, and they still have a few more layering passes to make. Who knows? Only the final product will tell us if the film's worth the price of admission.

For myself, I might ... might ... put this one in the Netflix queue when it comes out on DVD, and even then I'd only watch it if I had absolutely nothing else to do. But you'd have to drag me to a theater in chains, doped up with espresso and with my eyelids stapled open to get me to watch it. The first one was nearly infantile, and I haven't seen anything that leads me to believe the second will be of any better quality.

KIAAAAAA.... its a super samuria! i hope thats what he looks like at the end of the movie.

i was really optimistic about this sequel--I wanted it to be much better than the first. However, much of what I am hearing is not good. I think this one will be a letdown.
