I think these movies are better for me because prior to X-Men and everything, I had no background in comic heroes, never read the comics, never watched the old cartoons, with the exception of the Hulk cartoon and 70's show with Bill Bixby. I know nothing of any of these characters, so Fantastic Four was a fun movie for me, cool effects, Jessica Alba being hot, and good humor, Chris Evans is a great casting in the role for that aspect. I look forward to this film and I think this Doom look is interesting, but I have no preconceived notion of how he SHOULD look, so designs that most fans will reject, I'll probably be ok with, it'd have to be absolutely hideous for me to not enjoy it.

Looks fairly Doom-ish to me. I think people are going to hate on this movie regardless of how it turns out.

I like it. Its very Doomesque for me. I was never really happy about Doom's portrayal in the first one so anything is heading towards a better direction. People are going to love or hate this film before heading into the theaters and while I admit Tim Story has really done an injustice to the FF characters and history but I'm optimistic that there will be saving graces in this one....
