I was planning on something similar as for keeping the eyes unpainted but thinking of going up through the neck. Still need to work that out. Great job so far... Very nice.

Thanks guys!

Oh man, that looks great! You're nailing it so far! :clap
What did you use for the eye greeblies?

I just used a small aluminum tube for the left side and a clear rod for the right side. I don't remember the sizes off hand, but when I get home I can add a link to them.

I haven't figured out how to make the greeblies in the center of the eyes yet.

Here's mine painted up!

Love your paint color, what are you using?

Thanks guys!

Wow that looks awesome Rusty! And it's great getting to see the whole thing painted up.

For mine I just used a mix of silver and medium blue craft paint, which was dry brushed over a darker gray-blue. Depending on the light it can look like either more silvery or more bluish, which is kinda what we see in the movie. So I'm pretty happy with how that turned out.

That looks great Rusty!
The hoses on the arms, are there specific places to attach it to? Or did you just glue them to random places? & what did you use for inside the abdomen? Looks awesome! :clap
This is such a home run piece. Seeing how you guys finish this up is inspirational for me!

Well I decided to jump right into this, and start with lighting up the head. I'm not sure how others will approach this, but the only thing I could think of was to cut out the back of the head and dremel out a cavity for the light. And then afterwards I can just seal up the back again. I know I could probably just drill a hole up the neck and slide in an LED, but I also wanted to see the big socket and part of his brain you see inside there. And so this seemed like the only way to do that.

I also added some extra pitting, based on the shot below. Although I'm kinda undecided if it's too much now. On the figure from a normal viewing distance it seems to look pretty natural, but in these closeups I know it looks pretty extreme. There was even more pitting on the prop, but don't think I'd want to go quite that far with it. Lol

I also added some extra parts around the eyes, but there's still a couple other bit I need to make for it.

:thud:

Incredible...

No problem! Taking deposits for a small second run if anyone missed out- message me for details

I got my kit today. Its fantastic!

Thanks again Jason. I look forward to your next offering.

Completely agree! If another run of these is offered I highly recommend this. The prints are clean and the detail is great. It's so nice I'm considering having this one painted up by someone more qualified than I am. Thanks again Rusty for making a terrific iteration of a character who had no chance of otherwise being made!

Wondering if there still is any chance of a 1/6 scale moisture vaporator?

Couple spots left in the second run- message me now to secure one!
Thanks-

A few spots are still left on the second run. Message me for details.
Thanks!
