2010 was good, 2011 will be ridiculous. Here's why

It seems like there will be a lot of sequels, but there are some hyped original IPs too:

I've definitely glossed over a lot of smaller games...

DAMN . . .

Virtually all sequels . . .

Whatever happened to innovation and originality?

Did Bobby Kotick pretty much ____ up the entire gaming industry?

It's not so bad. There are definitely a lot of sequels, but like I said in that post, I've probably glossed over a lot of less-hyped original titles. 2011 should be comparable to 2010 in that regard.

I think just the first quarter alone of 2011 is stronger than all of 2010.

Dead Space 2
Killzone 3
Little Big Planet 2
Marvel vs. Capcom 3

And with games like:
Portal 2
Infamous 2
Mortal Kombat

And with Resistance 3 and Uncharted 3 hitting in fall, it's a one two knock out punch.

2010 games really let me down. And there's a lot of GOTY material here just to start of 2011 with. I need to catch up on my Christmas games to get ready for double onslaught of Dead Space 2 and KZ3.

I enjoyed 2010 for games lots of really good games that I had a good time playing. 2011 is shaping up as more of the same which is fine by me.

L.A. Noire & Uncharted are my most anticipated games in 2011. L.A. has a lot of potential to be GOTY, oh and my GOTY for 2010 is RDR.

Dude, you completely forgot homefront. Which will likely own them ALL.

I'm very much interested in Homefront and L.A. Noire, both seem be to flying under the radar, but not much has been shown from either yet.
