No one likes a whiner

It's like saying Casablanca or Titanic doesnt have a happy ending.
I gave nothing away. You'd have to have your head buried in the sand to know its not an "upbeat" tome....
and with Hollywood involved theres usually no guarantees that any book makes a faithful translation to the screen.

I have very little faith in this movie. I have no doubt the ending will be happy, even though it shouldn't be.

I wasn't whining......besides, I was mostly just joshin'.

I don't care much for doomsday movies, especially 2012 because it's just playing off people's fears, etc. of a myth. I'm really suprised they didn't hold off releasing this until 2012.

After seeing the new trailer, I think the majority of the movie is going to be what happens post 21st, with the survivors.
