Anyway, I'm sure Jack will survive. Jonas is smart, he's probably got an experimental cure we don't know about. Even If they have to break suspension of disbelief to do so, Jack will survive. I mean, there's still around 8 episodes in this season.

i foresee either a cure being held by the "bad guys" that jack will have some choice for bargaining for it. or i think jack is lying, maybe so he can feign illness and appear to be hauled off to some hospital and then reappear later in some black ops garb and kick some ass.
