They will feature interchangable parts!!!

Looks like October Toys has started a Kick-Starter for a full line of scaled 3 3/4 Skeleton warriors figures for the 20th Anniversary of the show. Baron is $25 with free shipping inside the US. As well as a plain Skeleton for $25.
2 versions of a Skeleton Warrior will be unlocked at $45,000 pledge.

I'm pretty excited about this line.

it's a little misleading. the human characters are gonna be 3 and 3/4 the skeleton warriors are 5 inches. still really cool though.

True. But at least they will be to scale! They also mention vehicles and playsets. Imagine how big the Skeleton horse Baron rides will be?

The Goal expectations are way too high to unlock characters! The line also should be leading off with Baron,Grimskull,Lightstar,Aracula etc...save the skeletons for later.....$120,000 to unlocked my favorite of the bunch- Grimskull....they will never reach that GOAL especially since the kickstarter is only 21 days and most folks are just buying one figure at $25

The line starts with ONE figure and then the rest are generic skeletons and oddball stuff...which has me wondering if the line will even get past one figure

The Goal would move much faster if the humans were mixed in early......

I agree that the goals are set too high. My number one pick would be Aracula or Dr.Cyborn. Which aren't listed... However, an opportunity for them has arisen, and I hope that we can see them made and released. They are at $15,000 right now. They have raised $720 in the past 12 hours.

That is just a drop in the bucket.....maybe I was spoiled watching the 4 horseman's Gothotropolis Ravens kickstarter unlock a character every other day...45,000 just to unlock ONE character, way too high!

Yea.... $30,000 in 13 days probably won't happen. I hope they either extend the Kick-Start or lower their expectations.

The problem is that most of these new characters require quite a bit new tooling, especially when you're talking about the heroes. With the 4H Kickstarter, it was just a new head and a new paint app, mostly. That being said, I understand what you guys mean. I wish they had at least included the guards in the mix right away. I think that would have generated more sales.

I supported it. I hope it goes through, but I'm not sure if it has enough oomph at this point.

Is there even a market? I remember Skeleton Warrior figures rotting on the shelves back in the day.

They were over produced like everything else in the 90's and the Show flopped. Series 2 was shown but never released, and the figures were sold to KB for clearance. Hahaha I actually picked up a second Aracula in 2001 at a KB outlet store.

I saw that. The idea of a Stone Spartan and Medusa display is great. I just hope for more characters and molds as opposed to re paints of the same mold. A Kraken style figure, Zeus, Hercules, and So on would be a great addition. I defiantly see these succeeding further than Skeleton Warriors.

The Skeleton Warriors was supposed to take off like Masters of the Universe, but Parents and kids didn't take to the evil looking Skeleton's,plus Playmates moronic move to sell all skeletons at first in the line, with the humans showing up when interest was kinda gone

Big potential of Series 2,vehicles,huge skeleton Dino's and playsets that never happened :(...those prototype's were awesome

Supposedly if this line sells through kick starter, the plan is to do what we didn't get for series 2

I am still disappointed in the high dollars they are expecting to get, because the line isn't popular enough to get those kind of numbers...Baron Dark could be the ONLY figure...what's the point then???

They have more planned. Generic Sci-fi, Fantasy figures, and others. As well as the blank bodies.

I'm hoping they get pretty deep in, there are several others I'd LOVE to get. The Black Male and female figures would make some nice bases to make some Drow.

they were also hampered by having 70's articulation ( IMO) 5 cut joints just didn't "cut" it for me at the time.

Almost an additional $1,600 in 18 hours!!! So if we get $2,000 a day we should easily hit the $45k mark.

yeah but that doesn't do the others any good

Skeleton Warriors-a line of ONE figure

what's happens to the others? they don't get made......

45k fully unlocks Baron. So I assume that's a mass production and sales would go towards the 60k Skeleton Warrior being unlocked. And so on.

good news is if they don't unlock characters, they will do kick starters for the other characters....so if we get Baron Dark at least, they'll do more kickstarters
