Looked way better obscured in shadows. But hey, it takes all kinds. . .if there weren't an audience for this, they wouldn't keep making them.

The whole reason ThreeA got these licenses from Marvel and DC was to do artistic interpretations of their material - seems pretty redundant to slam them for not making exactly the same thing as Hot Toys, Sideshow, Diamond Select, DC Collectibles, Mezco, Medicom RAH, etc.

I have a lot of issues with ThreeA's spiralling production delays and declining customer service quality, but I'm glad there's a company out there making something different, original and finding a market for it.

I own all 3a iron man figures...but even me as a big 3a fan says. wtf...
From the tip of the ears to the waist I was all in.....then someone replaced the male legs and chunky 3a style combat boots with girls legs and emo Goth chick boots...
Holy S.... Why....I mean really..... why

Yeah, I mean who in their right mind would give Batman disproportionately spindly legs? :lol

I had been really looking forward to this figure but I guess I just saved myself a few hundred bucks. Ah well.

I don't know. I think it looks pretty cool. Very different interpretation, and that sculpt is really interesting. I won't be getting it, as I can't afford to buy into another toy line, but I could see myself buying this if it was on sale down the road at some Comic Con or another...

Even if the boots were made to be more clunky and industrial sort of like the gauntlets it would be a huge improvement, not enough for me to buy it but still.

I like the design, but considering the asking price is probably going to be between $240-$275 I don't think I'll grab it. With everything HT is doing, it'd be more within my interest to focus on them.

ThreeA superhero stuff has been very unpopular thus far; you can currently pick up their Iron Man figures for $100 or less on eBay. If this goes the same way (and they bulk up the lower body a little), I could get into it.

There is a picture without the cape :

Not so bad, here.

To answer a question asked on the previous page, the background story of ThreeA's Steel Age is that the bad guys got rid of all superheroes and robots where created to replace them. So yes, this Batman is supposed to be a robot.

I like the Elseworlds angle. I'd like it even more if Ash did a comic for DC to go with the figures.

I wouldn't mind a 'human' version of that Batman, face looks really good.

Don't laugh too hard at me, but I kind of liked the stylized version of Iron Man- even with the duck feet. The art deco head/face and shoulders looks neat, especially since it's supposed to be a robot. But I have to agree with everyone else: the belt, the skeletal fingers and those spindly legs with the Hot Topic lace-up boots completely detracts from the top quarter of the figure. I don't anticipate this having huge sales and thus, I hope it doesn't imperil the rest of the series. I'm really surprised DC agreed to such a design.

Yo, I love ThreeA's Iron Man design! Just a little disappointed that they released so many repaints with no new tooling—at the very least Silver Centurion should have come with different pauldrons.

The only thing that's holding me back is picking a colour—I just don't have space for more than one, but am torn between the SS, stealth, milk and SDCC colourways.

I love that figure. A shop in Tucson, AZ was selling them for $75 a piece (owner didn't agree with the price point 3A recommended). Next time they have one I'll probably get it.

I love the detail put into the lace ups, I personally think it's awesome. However I'd prefer the chunkier look we got with the Iron Man and Doom figures.

So the preorders have been up a bit now. I keep looking this over, and I can not tell a difference between the "Day" and "Night" versions of this figure. Can someone explain to me how these two figures vary?
