I like that Michael Ironside's part of the cast, I like him as an actor, hope he has a fair ammount of screen time.

The thing I'm worried most about with this movie is Danny Elfman doing the score, I hope it sounds fitting for a Terminator film and isn't all Elfman sounding.

That looked pretty damn cool. And for the first time ever "T-800" gets spoken in a Terminator film! If nothing good comes from this film at least hopefully it'll bring to an end confusion about what Arnolds Terminator actually is!! No more of this T-101 crap.

True, much as I like Elfman he's probably the last person I'd have gone to. If Brad Fiedel is retired or something I'd have gone for someone like Mark mancina who did Speed.

Elfman's good, but he has a certain style that's only fitting for certain types of stories and I just can't see A) T:S being the style he usually composes for, or B) him branching out into a new style. I'd love to be proven wrong though. Brian Tyler (AVP:R, RAMBO) would be a good choice, he's good at taking existing cues in a series and mixing them into a score that's appropriate for the current story.

That's interesting because I feel like there is so much to fill in with this movie. I feel like I've just gotten enough to taste what it's about and want to eat it all up.
