Ok i got my Wikus head.
Awesome sculpt but a tad big i think.
On a regular TT it looks good.

It was a pleasure to paint. I put the head quickly on the body and i still need to weather the outfit.

Great job Elvis! I just got mine today and it is a great sculpt but I agree it does seem larger than normal.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed painting it, it's definitely a thrill for me to see Wikus finally painted!!!

I sincerely apologize if there's a size difference, I used an old Sideshow head for reference only to learn later that they made their heads bigger for some reason. I've adjusted since and will make it up to everyone very soon!

Hey! The Wikus casts are still available and the alien hand should be done very soon! The Arc gun/blaster on the other hand will take a while because I want it to be extremely accurate but it's definitely on my priority list!

The head running a tad big shouldn't stop anyone from getting this sculpt. Its such a fun sculpt to paint and the bulk of a woodland flack jacket really evens the size out. I refilled in his missing hair bits just becuase I think it gives him a little bit more of a heroic look haha.

Here's my first go at this guy -- and please don't hold the neck against Nek. I tried something and added some grit to it and then I had to make it dirtier than it should be and well, anyway.

There is so much character in this moment in the film. Everything Wikus has gone through -- his journey from disspationate beaurocrate to reluctant participant in rebellion to unlikely hero is in full swing here. He's a contradiction --part alien, part human. He's flawed and vulnerable and weak yet heroic and stalwart. And Nek has captured that in his sculpt. Just a wonderful job of encapsualizing the character. What he's about and who he is. Good job, Nek! And as a painter I appreciate the Sideshow size of the head -- it really allowed for me to get in there. Can't wait to paint him again. I already have ideas on improvements.

Well here is my WIP. The lighting is WAY too harsh but at least you can see his eyes. This was such a fun sculpt to paint. I'm having a blast doing all the weathering and cuts on him. I had to go with the eyes straight ahead look since I don't have a pose for him yet. Hope you guys like it!

Just an edit here, I was looking over some photos from the movie and the other paint ups on here and noticed I made his mustache way too prominent. Here is my quick repaint
