Awesome paint up on the WGP sculpt. I wouldn't add stubble. To many post apocalypse Ricks and not enough pre. Through a Sheriff's uniform on him and you've got a winner.

Any worries about the paint chipping/scratching off the body? I had that same problem when I tried my Indy body repaint. I ended up using a more expensive silicone based paint and it helped dramatically. Still easy to scratch if you move the body too much though.

hey john - using a specially mixed acrylic medium plus an iconic fixed 'arm-raised boomstick pose' (i hope - hehehe). at least that's the chest hair pattern i modeled this after. lol.

you can even see the seam since the left arm is lowered. i like to fix everything in place if it's at all possible - wrinkles, tears, etc. depending on what the client wants of course.

not sure if condoms were ever really made out of buckskin or intestinal lining, but i'd wager those got used a lot more than once. ewww.

i guess i'm not going to enter that hotdog eating contest i signed up for tonight.

Those paint are all very inspiring.

However I still think they all look a bit dead still
I think they still look a bit unhealthy. Maybe there is too much of the vein showing or too much red across some part of the faces.

But still impressive ;-)

thanks, but my photography skills are amateur. i just use a fill card to bounce light back onto the subject on my desk with my PC monitor turned off.

i'm usually not home during the day when i can get some daylight streaming through my workspace. today i decided to stop home for lunch and snapped these pictures after i ate some chili from the night's dinner prior.

that's about as high-end as it gets.
