"Nine ringwraiths for collectors, doomed to buy..." :lol

Sorry.

What I meant to say is, if Sideshow should ever get around to a 12" Ringwraith, how many people would want to buy nine of them? I know I would, but I'd likely have to refrain for financial reasons.

As exorbitant as it would be, it would also be hella cool. Especially if one of those was a Witchking. :rock

I would probably buy at least three but I just depends how much $ I had at the time. 9 though would look so kick a$$ together!

The more I think about it, though, the more I think that it wouldn't be all that costly. It's not like they have to put a lot of time into the head sculpt. And, after all of the robes they've made for various Jedi, they should have that technique down to a science. So the R&D budget would be severely reduced, right?

How about a Ringwraith 3-pack for at or around $100? $90? It's just a Buck body with a faceless head and some nicely-sculpted gauntlets for hands, after all. And a sword and dagger on a belt. Would/should there be boots?

No reason I can't see why it shouldn't be the least expensive 12" figure in the LOTR line. Which might explain, in part at least, why we haven't seen one yet... :(

If I could get steeds with them.. probably

By themselves.. I'd only get many 3 at most.

I would buy one Ringwraithe... and one WitchKing in true form... and one WitchKing in final battle gear.

So 3 versions.

Got no room for frickin' 9 of the same figure basically...plus horses.

Speaking of which, I need a black steed for my single Ringwraithe. Seems like a more dramatic way to display a single Nazgul.

Yeah, I'd more than likely just get one. Unless they made all 9 and there where enough differences to make me want to get all 9. I believe the swords for each was different but don't hold me 2 that. More than likely I'd get 1-2 and that would be it except for WKTF and a Morgul Lord.

At the very least I would want 3. Just enough to stand with swords up like they were in Bree before they attacked the empty beds at the Prancing Pony.

I believe the swords for each was different but don't hold me 2 that.

Again, I have to say don't hold me to this information but I believe I read somewhere that all of the Ringwraths carried the "Sword of the Ringwrath" but only the Witch King carried a different sword. In the GG Wiki in TF he has both, his personal sword on his waist in its scabbord and the Ringwrath sword in his hand.

As for the question at hand, I'd buy 9 definitely but not all at one time. I'd probably get one exclusive and one regular at ordering time and buy the rest over time.

You're probably right. I don't recall totally one way or the other.

I say I won't get 9 but I can see myself getting 9 too for that matter. Good god I'm weak. :lol

I think I am having a Deja Vu. Wasn't there a thread about this a few months back?

Ha! I completely missed that thread. Can you blame me, though? I mean, it was months ago!

(ahem) :lecture I apologize to the forum for my blasphemous conceit, and for not ritualistically performing the required thorough search for a similar thread topic each and every time I get the urge to start a new topic. I stand duly chastised, and I hope you feel justifiably righteous for needlessly bringing it to my attention. :monkey1

I thought it was worth bringing up in a new thread. I forgot about the old one too actually.
