it is the mc farlaine head, with some battle damage added to it. the ears are a dead give away. one is bigger than the other.

it looks like one guy bid this head up so high. i bet he'd feel really stupid to find out he could of just got the 12 inch mc farlaine figure and popped the head off it.:rotfl

i'm going to get me 10 McF. T-800 and re-sell just the head. Any one wants one :monkey1

Doesn't look like the McF head to me, eyes, hair, skin texture, etc. all different, although it has some similarities.

I don't know where this sculpt came from but it is awesome...

Could it be possible that Popsalute used the sculpt of Mcfarlane.
They look very much the same... (details in ears, chin, lips)

it is the mcfarlain head, but modified. the battle damage was added, the hair was re-worked, etc...but it is that head. the ears are a dead give-away. the eyes would definately have to be reworked, because mcfarline's version had sunglasses that plugged into the eye balls.

i'm pretty sure the photo in post #11 is of the 6 inch figure. the 12 inch version didn't have that battle damage.

yes, pop salute used the mcfarlaine head. that's why the pop salue head is smaller than the mcfarliane head. they used a 1/6th head to make rotocast copies and it shrunk. that's why heads are usually sculpted bigger than 1/6th scale to allow for shrinkage if they are gonna be rotocast.

That's the same figure on the 12 inch page on Spawn.com.

yea, but they didn't release a battle damaged version in 12 inch scale. they released versions with and without sunglasses. since the 12 inch figure is just a
bigger version of the 6 inch figure, they really are the same sculpt.

Personally, I think the versions shown in this thread look a lot better than that custom. :google
