I got the Mike Schultz Ultimate Bruce and the Mini Bruce this past couple of weeks.

I already owned the 37" Bruce NTT but decided that I wanted the 25" Ultimate Bruce. The Ultimate Bruce is the way the Shark looked before they ever put him in the water. Clean and Sleek. No water damage. He very much looked like a juvenile Great White. I always thought it was one of Mike's best looking sharks and with the sale he has going on his site I decided now was the time to get him.

I then thought, "What the hell, I might as well get the the 18" Mini Bruce." But I did not want him to be just any Bruce. So I asked mike if he could put the harpoons in him and bloody him up more so that he looked more like the Shark did by the end of the film. He turned out great IMO. The first photo shows the Mini and the Ultimate Bruce side by side so that you can see the difference in how they looked. You can really see how the Mini bruce has that much more water logged look while Ultimate Bruce looks lean and mean.

Here are some Shots of my Bruce's on Parade

Again i can not stress what fine work Mike and his family do over at Shark City Ozark. They really care about their products and bend over backwards to make the customer happy. https://www.sharkcityozark.com/sco-products.html

I've GOT to get myself one of SCO's sharks. I haven't had the good fortune to see one in hand, but I've never seen a single picture of their work that didn't look terrific. (I especially like the harpooned "final battle" version. Fantastic.)

I especially love this shot.

Not only does it showcase SCO's great work, but it also looks like an album cover for the most terrifying doo-wop act in history! :lol

LOL!! "Oh, the shark has pretty teeth, dear
And he shows 'em, pearly white"

Bucky go get one my man. They are great items. I thought three might be to many. But they are all done so well that I am happy to have all three. But everyone who collects and loves JAWS should have a least one. I do belive his $100.00 off sale is still going on so now is the time.

All of these are wonderful. I have the Sideshow Jaws maquette, which I just love to pieces. But I know it has some inaccuracies. I'd like to pick up the Ultimate Bruce, but he's a bit out of my price range. Maybe at some point next year I'll have the funds. If not, perhaps I'll just get the mini instead.

Very few Jaws collectibles are floating around out there to begin with. It would be nice to add one of these to the collection.

Do what I did and sell the maquette. :) I liked the SS maquette when I had it but all the issues with it drove me a bit crazy. Issues like you could not look at him straight on or he took on the angry seal look.

However I have and always will love how SS did the base for that maquette.

Oh no, I could never sell him. Despite the inaccuracies, he is one of my all time favorite Sideshow pieces. I agree about the base, and he is solid as a rock. If anything, I'll get another one to go with him, which isn't such a bad thing. :)

No it's not. It was an easy sell for me. I actually sold him to a friend of mine so he is never far away and I can visit whenever I want :).
