I can see why we don't get secondary characters on something like Wolverine. I'm note sure they are 'special' enough to make into figures.

I think the only cool thing Hot Toys to go to town on Creed is his Claws.

Rorschach, Nuada and Immortals on the other hand are all quite worthy of the Hot Toy treatment I think.

I personally would love a Xerxes.

Theres nothing special about Ror either though aside from the mask, I dont really think that should be the issue.

Its just annoying me generally that they'll only make figs that'll get huge sales. If something is relatively easy to make and will sell enough to make a profit, even if its not a huge one they should be making em...

Both Rorschach and Creed would be easy enough for them to make they just don't seem bothered.

As Darkseed said, the cash cow known as IM.
It's a Scarlet Johanssen in a jumps suit figure, it's gonna sell. The Spirit was crap but her figure sold.

Wolverine was no a cash cow so I'm not one bit surprised there's no Creed.
I think he would be cool but I can totally see why they haven't made him.

Rorsash on the other hand would sell I think. He's more iconic. I am surprised they haven't made him.

I think it boils down to three things.
Movie takings, character popularity and actor.

Are people gonna buy Fury because it's Fury or becuase it's SJ Jackson?! I reckon it's more that latter.

IMO HT Watchmen is a dead line (to HT). Silk wasn't well received and the Comedian didn't sell out at retail chains. I doubt any further characters will come from that line but stranger things have happened.

IM on the other hand sold out the Mark I, Mark III and Mark III Gunmetal while the Mark II and Mark III (bd) appears to be selling well, HT will ride this line until the cows come home. :gah:

I dunno man he seems to be pretty much adored across the board, despite the bad HS, it took me a long time to find one and I can honestly say I'm looking forward to his arrival more than the T-800. Thats just me but theres no denying he's sold out pretty much everywhere...

So how is everybody been doing since Arnie, Tony and for some Leonidas has showed up?

Tony Stark is wonderful addition to the collection I think. It's a real fan piece.

Well i only got king leo at the moment ..frikkin love the figure ..i ripped up his cape like lord vicious did ..and ya normally that would be something i might regret later but the cape just looked weird at the bottom outa the box ..it really improves the figure, may still buy a loose cape from the bay just to have if god forbid i ever have to sell the figure on.
As for the t800 .if i had the money id get him but the next figure on my list is MJBAD so hopefully by his anniversary(the predicted release) i will have money ready in my paypal to get him straight away, It looks like i may just end up waiting for the battle damage t800 the way things r going 4 me right now.
Finally lol ..i did order mech test tony from loonten toys ..sadly was short just $4 ..so just waiting to sell something to pay that off b4 he can ship it out to me, But man i really don't want to have to give that figure a section of its own in the detolf ..but i think i will have to given the size of the base ..that thing looks huge!:panic:

Arnie arrived yesterday...and as soon as he was on display, I had this feeling like 'Ok, next.' Six months of waiting for this guy and now I'm into something else. The wait is often the best part.

Im not a big fan of the waiting would rather get everything as soon as its announced lol unfortunatly it doesnt work that way :(

Yeah, I gotta agree with Limit-NoN-Existent! I flippen hate the wait and the wait on Arnie was a killer.

I could happily go a while without another Hot Toy.
Well at lesast a month until War Machine is out! :)

Yeah, Tony does take up quite a bit of space on the shelf. Robot is totally hidden!

If that were the case id say my collection would be much bigger a full of a bunch of figures i never really needed ..the wait is good 4 us it gives us time to think about and discuss the figure and if we really do want to get it.

Depends on the individual I guess, I dont think I've ever bought I figure I didnt really want, Id be happy cutting out the wait for figures lol

Nice display you got there Eamon i may actually go to our local printing shop and get them to make a copy of the backdrop that comes with mech test ..no chance in hell am i gonna cut it down to fit it in the detolf.
Just seeing blade there on your shelf makes me still want him ..damn i should have picked him up straight away:mad:

Also would'nt say I needed any of my figures! I love each and everyone of them but my life could continue without them. I choose to own them I dont need them...

I was terrible for buying figure that i didn't really need when i first started out collection..but ive become a more experienced collector since and i know better now.

I agree. I have been collecting 1/6 scale figures for 6 years. I bought everything I could at first. Now I am much more selective due to money concerns and space. Hot Toys is still my number one company. I no longer have that much Sideshow stuff on pre-order. I have reached a point where I will pre-order stuff and then later cancel after the initial "wow" has worn off. I like the wait period as it allows me to really think about it.
