Sounds to me like it's Not gonna be Nurse Joker, which means i'm out. i got the other versions, don't need a remake

YES!!!!!! I sold my DX Joker -- I don't need a stinkin' nurse joker. We need a stellar remake of that original DX. :clap

Ive only got one figure on order, i'm kinda new, but how come they havent done green lantern yet? i just order the tron lightcycle, why has i pt been delayed?

Maybe they dropped the whole green lantern project.... or they're pretty much busy. That's my guess.

Sam Flynn with Lightcycle will be released, they can't announce it, show a prototype, take pre-orders (and still do so) and have a release date (which unfortunately seems to be changed all the time) and then just cancel the whole thing. That would ruin their reputation and a lot of HT collectors would be pissed off.

Is toys2 good place to buy Hot Toys figures?

Don't know, but I see you live in Finland. Be careful buying from stores outside the European Union, you'll have to pay taxes in your country when the figures arrives.

Check out this thread I started about stores/dealers in the EU.

i bought from toys2 twice and both times they packed my shipment very well, they put extra padding in the shipping box and there is no way your figure will get dented or whatever.

I've ordered twice from them.

First order had jacked packing. Just basically took the true type package and bent it in half to make it fit in the shipping box. Wasn't impressed.

Second time was much better but there are bound to be better hot toys etailers.

Another note. I use paypal and my orders never get processed smoothly. Always looks like there is a major error after you make the payment. Rather scary actually. I asked how it could be corrected and was basically told to give them my credit card info. Which totally defeats the purpose of using paypal in the first place.

No major issues with them, but I wouldn't call Toys2 easy to deal with. A lot of room for improvements and is unlikely to ever be my first choice if I'm looking to buy.

Still somewhat new to hot toys, got a few figures, but is anything new coming that isn't from marvel or batman?

I read they have the rights to lots of films but they don't seem to be making the figures, i'm looking forward to green lantern and the remaining platoon characters mostly

I was wondering the same thing myself just the other day. Hot Toys appears unwilling of late to take on a single project that isn't some half-baked blockbuster superhero. They are getting pr-i-tee boring.

Yep, i'm buying less and less, not by choice but becuase most of their projects are now variations of characters they've already made, just not fun as much anymore

I think this is the trend going forward for collectible manufacturers. Re-release their big money makers with improvements as version 2.0. Less risk for them, specially in a "slow" market.

You also have to consider that this year you have two o their biggest franchises making a movie (TDKR and Avengers).

A little heads up. Just checked the batteries on my War Machine and they were starting to burst. I recommend everyone who has one or any other battery operated figure by hot toys to have a look at theirs and ensure everything is ok. O know it's been said many times, but I figure it bring it up again just to remind those who haven't changed their batteries yet.

I will check my batteries this weekend. Thanks for the heads up.

So then lads, we have three Terminator figures revealed, one of which is by Hot Toys rival Enterbay.

What are your thoughts? Are folks to going to sell their Hot Toys T2 and get the Cyberdine version?
Are folks going to buy any of the 1:4 scale figures by either company?

we would have discussion! :)

No I'm not going to sell my first version; I actually have been trying to buy a second, but it has been hard to do now that I'm living on a fixed income. The prices on the secondary market were just too high. Now I think they'll drop, but I also think that even so most will go for the new Cyberdine version. Which answers the second part of the question; yes I'm going to get a Cyberdine version. It's a different head sculpt, different accessories (which I have most though COO models), and a great feature (CPU removal).

As for the 1/4 scale, even though the prices haven't been posted I don't see them being cheaper than Enterbay; they may even be higher. So since I'm mainly a 3 3/4 and 1/6 scale collector that scale will be an easy pass for me. I'm learning more and more to be patient, eventually HT will make their characters in both scales hopefully.

Speaks truth.
After reading on these boards about batteries bursting I had removed all batteries from my WM, Mk IV, and Mk VI. I monitored them, and, over time, a little over a half dozen have burst open.

I for one am not going to replace my arnie. Too similar to what I have already and the cut out head piece is just a gimic to me. I wouldn't ever pose it that way.

1/4 is way too big for me. Part of the appeal of 1/6 is the size. Getting that large, detailed as it is, loses the amazement affect of "how do they do that?"

:exactly: what Dollmanron said.

I too wanted a second and this is the best bet, but i'll wait for in-hand to decide, no rush.

If you stop expecting them, you won't be constantly disapointed :lecture
