Yeah even though they are both the same screen puppet, they are slightly different.

..it's the same sculpt though. It's the exact same prop used in Aliens. Well, atleast the neck and up is..

We don't ever see her standing in Resurrection, in fact she only has like..two scenes. Sitting in her cage, and the birth scene. And I don't think they ever even show anything below her chest area.

Still prefer the blue hints colour of the Queen.
I dont mind the design of the AvP apart from the "crown" changes.
Those spikey bits just look awful!

Can't find a picture of the Queen prop..but this guy had it after Aliens was made, then they borrowed it (or just took it) from him and repainted it for Alien Resurrection.

Those are all screen-used heads behind him I think, this is all in the 2003 Quadrilogy extras.

I don't think the AvP Queen design looks awful, they just went a little overboard with it. The spikes for example. The original Queen design is much more unique, interesting, etc..

Yeah I know its the exact same queen from Aliens in Res.
Also said I dont mind the AvP design apart from the spikes. They really annoy me!
