Seeing all three females suggests they are aiming at the anime style marketplace. There's already heaps of that style, baby faced, augmented womans body, skimpy clothes, suggestive stanced, statues out there. So this isn't something new. Triad do something similar but not as expensive or life like. Isn't life like what we are after?
The cost is high but it's more than just a hollow nude body. The price will come down in time, whether relatively or actual, as technology advances. I would think the manufacturers have some idea of the market they are aiming at. Which at this price would be a pretty small sector. Even at a lesser price. It remains to be seen how that armature grinds at the inside of the silicon or whatever it's made out of.
