This is the single greatest announcement since Faramir! I only intend to buy one of each figure, and this is the Leia I've been waiting for! She looks absolutely fabulous. I was pretty close to getting Boushh Leia too, thinking that we wouldn't get a nice ANH Leia for a while, but now they go ahead and give us just what I wanted--and with the most beautiful sculpt I could hope for! Thank you so much Sideshow!!!

That's at least easy. We got the regular ANH Leia and the ceremony ANH Luke as convention exclusives, so it stands to reason that Sideshow will offer the medal ceremony ANH Leia and the regular farmboy ANH Luke as non-convention figures later on.

I've been asking and waiting for this one since they started the line!

I was hoping they would announce her (this year being the 30th anniversary of Ep. IV) but I thought they would go with "Old Ben" (Obi-Wan from Ep. IV)...

I'm REALLY glad they went with "Leia"! (And "no", I have no intention of cancelling "Leia Boushh".)

This is probably going to be the thoughest pre-order to date... It will make getting her even more rewarding!

looks really good! The sculpt from this angle looks spot on (so thankfully no resculpting for me to do) but I wonder if they'll keep the eyes like that....

have any SS figures every been released with eyes other than just looking dead ahead in a mad stare? They previewed Aragorn looking off to the side too.. and look at what we got......

My heart dropped because I thought I would be unavailable for the PPO. I own every SW 12" Exclusive to date. After checking my schedule, I indeed will be available for the exclusive ordering. :chew

I was just noticing that as well, but my hope / thought is they may have photoshopped it for the sake of doing the classinc peeking around the corner image.

I agree totally. I like the ANH outfits as well. Always have. Very iconic to me.

For me it depends on the character. Luke -ROTJ is the 1, Leia, this would be the outfit, but with a PF out there, I'd rather go for that. If they made Jedi Luke PF, my 12" would be out the door.

Really? I enjoy collecting both Lines and I will buy some duplicates like ANH Leia. I do have to admit my heart is the with PF's. They are just SO much more stunning IMO.

At one point I actually thought about ditching my 12" figures since I collect the PF's too, but I know it's the only way I'll ever get all the cool Jedi I like so I just can't do it.

I had decided not to buy any more
1/6ths and only pfs. Now they throw
in Yavin Luke and New Hope Leia.
Damm them all to hell!!!!

Should I cancel Leia Boussh, but she
