Its quirky enough to peak my interest and I'm considering it. Although since its a Medi piece the price will be so high that I'll most likely skip it. I'm really liking the Magneto though...

Magneto and the regular punisher are musts for the marvel line.(must find comic wolvie now for a villain for magneto)

its nice to see medicom expanding that line with two great figures ( punisher & Magneto.)

Funny, I thought Magneto was the best of the bunch. But Venom as Punisher? I don't really keep up with the comics but did they do this? I've never been a Venom fan, but that looks pretty dumb. They actually managed to produce a Marvel RAH that I won't buy.

It was in "What If?". Not sure if it actually occurred in the mainstream Marvel Universe. He used it to create guns, glider wings and a few other things.

Pretty good comic.

EDIT: Ok I only read the first page before posting too. So shoot me ;p

Wow a whole lot all at once. The Punisher, and Blade figures peak my interest, I'll have to see more to know for sure if I'll get them. I agree the Bart Sears Blade looks SOO much better then this one, but that turnaround of Blade has got me interested. A plus is that it shows his vampire teeth well visually expressing his powers.
I'll probably get the Punisher, but I would like to see more before I commit.

Magneto looks good with the exception of that huge upper torso they gave him. He looks like a body builder there, a little off character if you ask me.

Venom Punisher looks incredibly stupid to me, I have zero interest in him.

.

Reference the comic pic behind him in the preview, in the comics, for some weird reason, he was built.

I think the Venom/Punisher thing is weird, but cool because that means we might get some more cool "What Ifs" and off beat guys from them in the future. And as for Blade, I like the older one better than this one, but it's still neat that they'll re-do someone.

Magneto rocks and Punisher too, I'm just pumped for these!

Yeah he does often have a muscular physique as do most superheros and villains. I've never thought of him as being a physical guy so the muscles are really unnecessary to his character.
I guess what's bothering me most is the upper torso, It's far too barrel chested. I've never liked any of the Medicom figures that use this chest, it's why I dislike Cyclops so much. The chest just doesn't match the rest of the body or look at all like a real person's physique.

I liked the original headsculpt for Blade much better than this new sculpt. The figure still looks great though. I'm not ordering this one I belive. With the other head, that might have been a different story...

Well that's cause they're comic characters, not real life people. But I get what you're saying, to each their own. I like the super big chest, it fits the cartoony-comic style of the drawn character. If it was based on the actor, than I'd be ticked.

I think it's still a little much for a comic book character. Jim Lee sometimes drew the upper torso barrel shaped which is where I think Medicom based their body design on. Comic book artists have to push themselves hard to meet deadlines, and sometimes the form misses the mark. Also it's 2-D artwork, had Jim Lee had a chance to look at his style in three dimensions, I think he might hold back on the upper torso's mass.

I know, what if they did it based on Liefeld? YIKES! Things arms would be bigger than PF Hulks. :lol

They'd have very thin ankles, small feet, huge barrel like thighs, beady eyes, lots of teeth, and very odd looking hands. :lol
Maybe it's best for Medicom stay away from Cable.

I think Magneto looks pretty good, not sure if I'll buy or not. I was really hoping that they'd cash in on their Spidey license and do either Iron Spider or the Ben Riley costume, heck even Scarlett Spider wouldn't to hard to due. Can't wait to see more pics of that Punisher though!:D

Well since they're doing Venom/Punisher they may do all of those, who knows now?

Thats kinda what I'm thinking... Venom as the Punisher is a pretty wild choice when you're only 8 or so figures into a line. So I could imagine some of the more wanted variatinos being a possibility.

Although we're also probably seeing him since it was a pretty easy switch from the regular venom to this guy... same body and suit (with different deco) with a new headsculpt, boots and a few odds and ends to round him out.
